Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha Downtown Old Market

Close to Omaha Zoo, and grocery in 8 miles. Great staff, usual Embassy breakfast and cocktail hour (made to order eggs and pancakes), and friendly staff. Right in the Old Market area, lots of restaurants and gift shopping.

Extra cost for parking, and self park is behind the hotel across the street. The hotel is showing its age, the sofa bed is awful! We had to stack the sofa cushions on the bed for anyone to sleep on it.

The location was perfect! Just across the street from Old Market area downtown, walk across the street to plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and activity. It’s about 2 miles from the zoo, straight shot down 10th street, that was great too!

Didn’t know the pool was closed for maintenance. They had a pool available at another property 4 blocks away but we never made it there. Also , they have a large parking lot across the street, but you have to pay extra for parking. I felt it should be included for the price of the room.

All staff members were friendly and helpful. The facility was nice and neat. Breakfast was always wonderful! Although there were lots of families and pets, it was very peaceful and quiet. The location was nice downtown and seemed to be very safe. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The parking is strange and far. The bed was a little too firm, but the pull out couch mattress was no good.

Missed breakfast. Location is great at the Old Market District.

Parking is not good. There is nowhere to park at the door to what I assume is fire code? Then the parking next to the lobby door is all for loyalty members and staff. The 2 parking pots allowed for checking in were being used by delivery drivers.

we came for my daughters 12th birthday party. the girls loved how close we were to the old market. we love the openness of the hotel and the rooms.

my daughter started her period and there wasn’t any women’s sanitary products any where. I asked the front desk and she said they were on back order. I tried the machines in the public restrooms and they were all empty.

Evening Reception was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, plenty of options from which to choose. Bed was very comfy. Rooms clean and spacious. Location was perfect for an overnight get away. A dozen or more good restaurants within a 4 block walk around the Old Market, one of Omaha's best attractions.

I wish the Breakfast hours were longer, 9 am is too early for some, should last until 10am. It's also not nice to charge your guests $20 for parking. One space should come with the room. Shall we call it a hidden fee? My friend wished you provided a shower cap in bathroom.

Great location for where we were headed. Felt safe & secure. Aesthetically the hotel lobby was beautiful.

Our room was missing the fridge- I had to use ice to keep my breast milk cold instead of being able to store it in the fridge, we made due, but the ice machine on our floor was broken/not working & I had to go to 2 others before finding one that worked. The bathroom had hair from previous guests all over in the shower & on the floor.

What we liked BEST were the staff. They are the ones who made our stay exceptional. We especially want to commend your bartending staff, Mike, Christine, and Donovan. I would want them all working my bar if I had one! I also want to commend the gentleman who checked me in (can’t remember his name though. Sorry!) and every person who answered my call at the front desk…professional and personable. The hotel’s location is also ideal for visitors. We enjoyed being able to walk out the door and stroll down Howard street and patronize the multiple local shops and restaurants. We Ubered it to a gem bar off of the main street, The Verdict, who had an incredible drag show during our stay and actually walked back to the hotel…so it wasn’t as far as we thought. LOL. Location is also close to several local attractions that are a short drive/ride away.

Housekeeping. We didn’t get any. After the second day I asked about it and was told that we had to request it 24 hours in advance. So I requested it for the next day. Still didn’t get serviced. We completely understand the COVID situation. But even the items we requested on the cards provided didn’t get delivered and we had to call the front desk EVERY day for them…which they promptly delivered. But this puts an extra burden on those who are supposed to be attending to the front desk. They were always gracious and helpful when I called. I would’ve given 4stars because of housekeeping BUT your staff made the difference for the 5! We will absolutely return in our next visit.

Breakfast was excellent & location was good. Staff was quick & efficient in clearing/cleaning tables so tables were ready for the next group of people looking for a spot. Staff very friendly!

Would have preferred breakfast to remain open to 11 am rather than closing at 10:30.

First, they have an incredible breakfast!!! With all the COVID restrictions on place, most hotels breakfast selections have been nothing to minimal however this hotel has reinvented the continental breakfast! Several hot choices, fruit, yogurt, cereals (hot & cold), juices, milk, coffee and teas. ALSO, they have an evening happy hour!! The staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms are excellent! The location is perfect!! Just close enough to walk throughout old downtown but just a block outside of the loud, party crowds. The ONLY negative is the hotel charges for off street parking, which we highly recommend.

The only negative is having to pay for parking.
