Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown-Old Market Area

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and acknowledged us in every passing. We were happy to have a coffee maker and refrigerator to use. We also appreciated that we could use the parking facility even though it cost a fee. We also liked the noon checkout time. The location was perfect for walking to the CHI Center venue and multiple restaurants and bars in the area.

We received an 8:30 a.m. knock on the door announcing,"housekeeping." We did not realize that we needed a 'do not disturb' sign posted the night before to avoid that. We would have appreciated complimentary coffee in the lobby at any hour. The shower water pressure was ridiculously low because of the shower fixture. Between taxes, fees, and $19 overnight parking, the rate I booked quickly jumped an additional $50.

Check in was quick. Tess was awesome and gave us a map with suggestions of things to do in the area. Tess also asked the reason for our visit and after sharing we were celebrating our anniversary she comped our parking. We checked out a few of her suggestions and they were great! The location is perfect we were able to walk to majority of places like the Old Market. The updates done to gene leahy mall (park) are amazing and we loved being so close to this. The room was clean. The hotel was clean.

We had to find someone for additional towels and TP. If not doing room service everyday it would be nice to have some extras stocked or readily available. Cars outside at night seemed very loud.

Great property and excellent staff. Very convenient to the ballpark & great restaurants.

Our vehicle window was broken out in parking garage and several small items taken. The hotel team was very supportive, but this type of crime increases during CWS, per police, so we felt security should have been onsite to protect guests.

Superb Staff!! You are 1 block from CHI Event Center. There is a restarant in the hotel. (Pricey) but the bar across the street Addy's is reasonable. There is also a great brunch restaurant across the street. LuluB's. You are right in the Old Market so can walk everywhere! My only reason this isn't 10 stars is the mattress was too firm and the pillows too soft. I didn't eat breakfast here so cannot say anything about that. You have a covered parking garage attached to the hotel. That was lovely!

The staff was very friendly. The ambiance in the foyer was very vibrant and warm. The location was great in that it allowed us to walk to dinner easily and then walk our dogs at the nearby park. The parking garage was easy to find.

The mini fridge in our room still had food in it from a prior guest. We went to put our leftovers in there from our dinner and it was full of old, smelly food from someone else. It was a bit gross to be honest.

The staff and breakfast options were great. The facilities were beautiful. The front desk staff were helpful and answered my many questions, especially about parking downtown.

Parking garage was full and I still had to pay $3 just to drive all the way through it to find out it was full. It was not user friendly for those of us with pickups. The king size bed was not comfortable and the pillows were flat. Since it was downtown it was very noisy. We were on the 3rd floor but the cars and people could be heard easily from the street. Black out curtains would be nice as well.

Staff was always so friendly and helpful! Our room in the hotel in general was very clean which is so important, especially during this era of Covid. Beds, cushioned chair and office chair in the room were very comfortable. Convenient parking garage. Location made it easy to find good restaurants and was close to our main reason for this trip, the Henry Dorley Omaha zoo.

Nothing major but this hotel’s age is showing. Exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, top dresser drawer kept sticking so it was very hard to open and close, and several other cosmetic flaws in refrigerator cabinet and bathroom. However none of this affected our stay and we still love Hilton Garden Inn hotels.

We always stay here when we are in Omaha. The place is always clean, easy to get to/from places, within walking distance to Old Market area and restaurants, and the new beautiful Gene Leahey park. Breakfast is always great as they make your omelet/eggs just the way you enjoy them. Coffee is a help-yourself station and no charge. Rooms are always clean and spacious.

Breakfast Offerings (they have two options, $11.95 for full breakfast (but don’t forget to add tip and tax since you order and then wait for it to be delivered to you), $6.95 for a serve-yourself- cold- breakfast (cereal, bagels, coffee, milk and the sort… very short list). I don’t think this nice of a hotel should charge this much for Breakfast. My boyfriend and I walked 3 blocks for breakfast and spent $28 for us to have the most wonderful pancake sandwiches and fresh to order coffee of our choice. This was the only downside to this hotel.

The location of this property was a key component of why we booked, paired with the value of our short stay resulted in a great weekend in Omaha. Our room was basic, but seemed clean and had everything we needed (in room coffee, fridge/ microwave, tv, basic toiletries).

Our bedding was not properly put on the bed- nothing major, but we had to reapply the sheets as they were coming off the bed at the corners of the mattress, and the duvet insert came out of the cover midway through night one.
