Best Western Hoover Dam Hotel

Location was central to town. Very walkable ! Indoor pool and hot tub was nice. Room was clean, comfortable and a great size for 2 adults and 2 teens.

I love the BW has a full breakfast. This location does not, but gives a voucher for a great restaurant across the street. Problem is, the restaurant is small and super popular, so hard to get seated quickly. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing.

Well, if I was traveling to Vegas I’d stay in Vegas. But for a restful night on a cross-country drive I was glad to discover Boulder City. No neon, no noise and no casinos. It’s near beautiful Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. The hotel’s restaurant was good for a decent light supper and a glass of excellent local craft beer, and there are a couple of other food options within an easy walk. Everyone I met here was exceptionally friendly - I experienced true hospitality.

Nothing not to like. The “free breakfast” is actually a voucher to a nice diner across the street.

Location of hotel is ideal for the centre of Boulder City - just a short walk away. Nice breakfast just across the road at the Southwest diner, hotel issues a voucher which allows basic breakfast but you can choose anything from menu and pay extra. Modern fairly spacious room with coffee machine and fridge which was useful.

The only thing to mention which actually did raise a smile was the fact the wooden floor in our room was dirty and could use a proper clean. This was only visible when exiting the shower as bare feet were black! Didn't mention this to reception as wasn't a big deal. Would stay at this hotel again without hesitation

Front Desk was AMAZING, we came to the property too soon, our room was not ready, however when we explained our situation, the attendant offered to lock our luggage in the office while we went to our concert on the strip. We came back to the hotel and easily retrieved our items and got our keys. Great hospitality which we really appreciated! Thank you

When we got int he room there was a lone roach in the bathroom. We got him out of the room and just kept the lights on at night during our stay.

We stayed as a couple for 2 nights on our way to Vegas coming from the Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam. We booked ahead and got a competitive rate, especially as it then turned out to be NASCAR weekend in Vegas It was simply put, the best place we stayed at in 3 weeks. We pretty much floated around the $100 mark for rooms and this was about that per night. The front desk staff were great, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. And they seemed genuinely friendly, not that fake way you get too often. The rooms were great, good size, modern, nice towels, good shower, great toiletries etc. Zero to pick at. The location was good too, everything walkable in town and the bar in hotel itself very decent. The facilities were good too, the indoor pool was nice and clean. In mid October, the pool was a bit chilly, but not horrible, we used it. The jacuzzi was a good temperature though. There is a coin operated laundry on site. A bonus, and by far the cheapest we used. They sell detergent at the front desk, not very expensive, but cheaper in 7 eleven or the 99c store. Parking was plentiful and no issues with noise. The breakfast is as others say, a $5 voucher for the diner across the road. It’s a good diner, and they do a simple $5 menu for the Best Western Guests. It was more than adequate for us anyhow. Fully recommended, especially if on route to Vegas as it means you can get up late, an easy drive to Vegas for lunch

Perfect accommodations! The room was clean and the location was perfect for a day trip to Hoover Dam or Vegas. The family loved the pool. We were surprised at how good the food was at the restaurant BW uses for their free breakfast voucher; you won’t be disappointed. Although we didn’t use it, the fitness center is well done. It has lots of room and decent equipment for weight training and cardio. The lobby is nice and has complimentary coffee and water. We loved this BW!

The only issue we encountered was the shower tub drained slowly and likely needed a plumber/maintenance to snake it. We told front desk staff on our way out since it wasn’t so pressing to get fixed during our two night stay; they were responsive and it seemed like it was going to be addressed.

Upon arrival of 115 degrees outside, our room was cooled (ahhh). The front desk was very kind and helpful. The beverage bar was nice too. The breakfast was at the Southwest Cafe across the street, and the food was yummy and the service was great!

The laminate floor felt dirty from the start (our feet were black) but we just used a towel and cleaned our feet good before getting into bed. Still it was much better than carpet.

The staff was very nice. The beds were the most comfortable from our 10 day trip.

The pool was ice cold. Unbearably freezing. Taps was very unprofessional. My son ordered 3 7in pizzas. They only fix(and charged us)2 pizzas. My son asked they to make the 3rd one so he could have food to. Then they informed him 10 minutes later that the kitchen closed. He had to go buy food off property.

The young lady at the front desk was so sweet! This town, Boulder City, is a cute, hip little town. Everything looks retro right out of the 60's. The room was very clean. Breakfast was free at the diner right across the street. They had a special "hotel breakfast" menu for the hotel guests. It was delicious. It was towards the end of our 15 day western adventure, so we had to do laundry. Laundry room was clean and machines worked great.

I liked how this hotel was in Boulder City and away from Las Vegas. We came out for a memorial service and really enjoyed staying in this small town. The hotel was lovely and clean. We had an appliance issue in our room and the staff came immediately to replace it. The grounds were well kept. Very friendly. We loved the voucher for breakfast at the Southwest Diner. Would recommend and if in area again we will be coming back to stay.

The only thing not like was the heater was out in the pool and it was freezing cold water. My son was disappointed as it was too cold to swim. However, the hot tub worked and he enjoyed being in there.
