Staff were very nice and accommodating. They were customers focus, and this is very valuable to me. Also the owner of this nice hotel will make it his priority to ensure that guests are highly satisfied.

If there was entertainment from now on, this would be a plus. But I guess the setting of the place is for you to disconnect from the world by enjoying the beauty of nature surrounding you. If you are not a country person this location is not for you. Me I love out of the city, and the peacefulness that it offers is enjoyable.

The food was good, and the staff was very friendly. We only stayed one night but we enjoyed out time. We would like to check out the cabins when they are in season. I would recommend this Inn.

We had ladybugs in our room. Now, this wouldn't sound like a problem as ladybugs are lucky and lovely little guys. Unfortunately, when you're sleeping and they are falling from the ceiling its just gross. Also, seeing any bug crawling on your ceiling is not what you want. Also, the TV was smaller than my computer monitor. We are not big TV people but its nice at the end of the day to catch up on news or find a movie.

Lovely restaurant, amazing food, quaint inn and lakefront cabins. I visited for a weekend in Rindge near Cathedral of the Pines. I took one of their pet-friendly rooms. The rooms in the inn building are quaint and perfectly clean and comfortable. Beds are slightly on the soft side. There are dog-walk bags by the path to the pond, which is a pleasant walk through some trees and an open space that looks like it used to be a golf course. I met the friendly owner walking his well-behaved dogs one early morning! Check-in was efficient and courteous with the friendly receptionist, who also was our hostess at the complimentary delicious breakfast. The real attractions are the restaurant and bar, and outdoor event space! I spent some time at the small bar that can accommodate eight or nine. The bartender knows her drinks, and was non-stop. After a New-England-sourced beer on tap, I tried their top-shelf mezcal. For the record, mezcal has a notable smokiness akin to a young single-malt scotch, so this particular beverage is not for everyone. The reason i mention it is that the bartender's description and serving recommendation were spot-on, which makes it fun to taste something new! I will explore more of their top shelf, based on her expert knowledge of their offerings. They have a nice array of beers on tap, wines, ports, gins, and a full bar. The bar prices were quite reasonable. With guests, i moved to the dining room, and we shared amazing appetizers and salads, including tender flavorful juicy lamb sliders, perfectly seared scallops wrapped in crispy bacon, and a salad of fresh micro greens topped with seared goat cheese. Each item was a creative sensation, prepared with care. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive.

The dinner prices were rather expensive for everyday dining, i am usually a hole-in-the-wall hot-dog-stand type, but i must say the quality here rivals "big city" fare, i kid you not, and in that regard the prices are low for an experience worth traveling

Very clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Nice country inn feel to the place. Staff very friendly and helpful. The buffet hot breakfast was very good, with exception of there being no toast or English muffins, just French toast.

Was very icy on walkways due to freezing rain and not enough sand was applied. Very slippery to walk to breakfast. Next day, still slushy coming out of our building. Not scraped or shoveled. There was no hot breakfast for Christmas morning. That would have been ok, but all choices they had were sugary pastries and cereals. Coffee was very good.

We were there for a week and had a pleasant stay, spending most of our days by the lake. Probably two or three weddings took place. There was live music on Thursday and Friday, which was nice. None of the festivities disturbed us in our room. The Inn is in a rustic setting, surrounded by trees and a short walk to Lake Contoocook. Despite its remote location, the wifi was outstanding, which was needed because our cell phone service was weak to non-existent. There is a restaurant on site, which you should try once but the food was so-so. Excellent martini!

As someone who works at a hotel, I won't ding a place for things it cannot control, such as weather, the pandemic, aging infrastructure, etc. We were not pleased that our windows were covered with plastic in preparation for painting; however, in our entire week's stay, the painters were there only a few days and did not even work outside our room. We never got to look out of our second-floor window to take in the view. Our shower was next to useless. It is mounted seven feet up and is one of those light rain showers. If you soap up, be prepared for a lot of work to rinse off. The floors were creaky but they've tried to fix this problem; with a building this old that will be quite a task.

The property is not new but it is well maintained and the room was quiet and clean. All of the staff encountered were helpful and very pleasant. The breakfast was very much better than any of the "chain" hotels I have stayed at. The value for the price was excellent.

As I mentioned the facility, while clean and well maintained, was dated.

Breakfast was good. Ate dinner at the restaurant. Food was great. Service was not but we understand the times we are in and the reason for lack of help. The room was clean. It was a nice place overall. We would go back. Staff were very nice.

Didn't have extra pillows and blankets. You pay good money and couldn't get those extra items.
