La Mer Beachfront Resort

Received a room with a King size bed and balcony. Room was plenty spacious, and clean. Staff was accommodating and friendly. I'm an early riser and like to go down by your restaurant and pool area to read and enjoy the morning son. I asked one of your maintenance personnel if they had any coffee around since your restaurant didn't open till 8:00 am He offered me a cup of coffee even though he didn't have to and cleaned off a wet seat for me to sit and read.

Need to offer coffee in the morning for early risers. Most hotels offer it. Example : Holiday Inn, Hilton Garden In.

Dear La Mer Resort, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for creating such an exceptional resort. Our recent stay at La Mer was truly the BEST experience we've ever had on the East coast. As residents of Maryland, we had almost given up on spending summers at the beach in NJ, DE, or MD due to past disappointing experiences. However, this time was nothing short of amazing! We were utterly impressed by the entire team working at La Mer. Every staff member was incredibly nice, helpful, and kind. It was evident that they all worked together to ensure a flawless experience for every guest. Special thanks to manager Irina, Julia at the front desk, and the servers Tomi and Lilia for their outstanding service. The food at the resort was simply exceptional, and the service at the beach was impressively organized. Throughout our stay, I couldn't help but feel like we had been transported to a luxurious all-inclusive resort in a different country, not in the USA. We were so thrilled with our experience at La Mer that we have already recommended it to all our friends, and we can't stop talking about how wonderful our time there was. We could hear noise from other rooms.

The room was very clean and spacious. It was actually bigger than it appeared online. We were also able to check in early which was nice. The staff knew I was coming for my bachelorette trip, so they gave us a bottle of processo, glasses, and a card which was so nice! Overall, it was a very nice hotel and a perfect location for the beach!

The only thing I could say is our bathroom door would get stuck causing it to make a pretty loud noise whenever it was opened. The beds were also pretty firm.

The location was great for the beach! It’s a little stretch from the strip where everything is located but a quick walk and you there. Pier House had great food and service. Only wish they had more coffee options. Pool was fantastic and service was ok.

The service at the pool needed to have another waiter. Pool was full but only one person for orders so it took forever to get what you needed. Not their fault they worked very hard to keep up but just too many guests.

The suite was very spacious and comfortable . The beds very comfortable. The view, amazing. Loved having the kitchenette and dining area in addition to a living room. The kitchenette was fully equipped with a stove top, pots, dishes, glassware, cutlery, Keurig, full refrigerator with freezer, cabinet for groceries. Dishwasher liquid as well as paper towels, dish towel and dish rag were also supplied.

The food at the restaurant and the cost but having the kitchenette made up for this issue as eating at the restaurant was not a necessity.

This was the cleanest resort I have ever been to. Everything was spotless, even the exit stairwell. Our room was large and newly renovated with a great view of the ocean. The bathroom was very nice with a large walk in shower. I also loved that they decorated for Christmas while we were there in the lobby, super cute.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like this but I would suggest putting an additional type of shower head to also run with the rain shower head. It was super nice but it could use a little extra power.

The property is beautiful and the location is great. Overlooks the beach! Beach is beautiful and clean with very easy access. There are shuttles or you can Uber to Washington mall. The staff, the live music, the restaurant were all great.

The room was spotlessly clean. The views were amazing from our room. The live music and restaurant were so awesome. We can’t wait for our next trip to cape May:)

I need a view and not someone's backyard for the price. The location of the Hotel was great in order to get to the beach and the service on the beach was great. Dinner was great as well.

Not happy with the location of our room. I need a view and not someone's backyard for the price I was charged. Elevator was out of service at one point however was taken care of very fast. I did plan to have 11 members of my family come however may have to think about it.

From arrival to departure it was awesome. We enjoyed the view from the room. The staff at the restaurant were awesome. It was truly a beautiful stay. I give all glory to God first and his beautiful ocean creation and then to the amazing service of the staff at LA Mer Beachfront. Truly impressed. I've stayed at other locations in Cape May by far this was the best.

Perfect location to enjoy the beauty of Cape May

The room we stayed in is very dated , while the view couldn’t have been better. The price that was charged should have taken into consideration whether the room was upgraded or not. There were no soft white / yellow lights in the room - would be nice to have at least some lights a soft white as some are light sensitive
