Virginia Hotel

The accommodations, in general, were very good. The location was excellent for visiting surrounding attractions The room was a bit smaller compared to the room we had during a previous visit but still quite nice. The restaurant was excellent.

Our stored luggage, due to early arrival, was not available at check in. The luggage could not be found. It was resolved but caused some distress. The extra "Resort Fee" that was added to the final bill was not included in the quoted price for the room. This seems to contradict the claim that all taxes and fees were included in the quoted price by Booking. Com.

Room 309 had a lot of noise from the kitchen up until 10:15pm. Luckily I'm a night owl and my husband's hearing is diminished. I was just surprised to hear so much banging, clanging and loud voices. We stayed in room 308 a month prior and we didn't hear anything. We still love it there!

Please see above. I put in wrong spot. Other than loud kitchen we love everything. The friendly staff, beautiful decor and location!

Valet parking. Help taking our luggage up three flights of stairs. Ebbott Room is always excellent. Great location to mall and other attractions.

No problems with the hotel or restaurant. Disappointed that the Washington St. Mall was empty and could not get a trolley tour or horse carriage tour. Booked solid back in October.

The location was great and the access to the amenities at congress hall was very nice. The property was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good

The beds could be a bit more comfortable I had trouble sleeping both nights. The dinner service was not great but the location of the back porch was beautiful

Breakfast in the porch was enjoyable. Hotel had a miss with one of family members room service - just didn’t happen.

Breakfast on porch midway when recycle collection came. It smelled, was noisy and dangerous and the machine was crushing glass just feet away. The hotel should never seat guests during small window.

Great ambiance, wonderful staff. My friend travels with her own pillow... not necessary here. Beds were luxurious and super comfy. Wasn't sure whether the room would measure up to pics and it was even better. Having breakfast delivered to our room as a standard option also a real treat. They skimped on nothing.

Simple continental breakfast. Average but certainly good enough. Restaurant is awesome , great service and food. Every employee here is friendly and on top of everything. Great location and comfortable bed/room.

Nothing would make me not go back. A little over priced, especially for time of year.

Clean, and the staff was friendly. The bedding was fantastic and there is no need to leave the facility. It offers everything one could want

Shower took some figuring out, water pressure wasn't great. Was woken up by power washers with no warning from staff at the time of check in.

The Virginia Hotel transports you back to the Victorian Era. From the decor, to all the sights and smells, visitors get to see what luxury living was back then.
