Hilton Woodcliff Lake

Check in was great. No problems. We were given a room close to the pool, which we wanted, and within a short walk back to the lobby where breakfast was. Hotel was quiet so we had a good night's sleep for the two nights we were there. Room was clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was extra but worth it. A very nice lady took care of us, and brought a coffee carafe to our table. The hot breakfast had everything from real scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, waffles, cereals, fresh fruit, etc. Lobby was cleaned every morning and the grounds were nice and landscaped.

The lady that checked us in gave us four cards, but didn't explained what the extra two were for. No big deal. We figured it out. All in all, a very nice experience.

Good location - close to the Hilton where we attended a wedding. That Hilton (pearl river) was twice as expensive and no breakfast included. Our Hilton Woodcliff staff was pleasant and friendly.

Two lamps in room were broken (not the bulbs which hotel engineer did try to replace) with repairs not available during our stay. Requested room cleaning did not happen. Rooms do not include microwaves or frigs, items available in most highway based motels at half the nightly price.

I was upgraded to executive level, which made a huge difference in my rating. This level provided a hot self serve breakfast in a private lounge. I was also allowed to enjoy free beverages in there.

The price is still too high for a basic hotel. If booking.com hadn't given me the free upgrade, then I would've given the hotel a 7. Restaurant and bar closed earlier than what was listed upon booking. My hair dryer broke, and I called the front desk as well as housekeeping, several times. I had to put on a robe and go down to the lobby with wet hair to get one in front of several guests. This was embarrassing and it caused me to be late for my appointment as well.

the rooms were cleaned well the property upkeep was nice the pool and most staff were nice and sort of helpful..

not enough staff members ..it took 2.5 hours before I could get in my room because only one person knew what she was doing and the trainee im assuming he was did not and constantly pulled her from one guest to assist with his. so when he gave me a key to a room that was already taken she couldn’t help me right away because she had to keep helping him. garbage was stacked up over flowing the trash cans that sat well in to the next day.. which cause lots of flies and bees to pester the guests..

The room layout and size were extremely nice, hotel staff were very pleasant. We had a slight issue where my room charge was higher than expected. The issue was resolved almost immediately, and to top it off I was given a complimentary breakfast for my wife and I. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows could have been better but I'm just being picky at this point. Don't forget about the heated indoor pool, I was able to go swimming in 30 ° weather, so that was awesome. Honestly I have no complaints. The hotel is located within 15 minutes of some excellent shopping and restaurants.

Honestly besides a few of the noisier guests which are pretty much not the hotels fault, there really isn't anything that I can find wrong with this hotel.

My husband and me wanted to get away without the kids, but also wanted to stay close and local. This hotel was perfect for us. Aside from Saturday and the loud music some girls were playing by the outside pool. Aside from those rude guest, the staff and the hotel was amazing. We book an executive suite (we stay at hotels a lot). The walk path was also amazing. And they have two pools as well,

There wasn’t anything not to like. I wish tho, if I may add, I work management in the city for 14 years, I know it’s Covid, but I would power on all TVs just to make it look more alive at the bar restaurant area.

It had comfy beds. Free breakfast was included. The food selection was great. The hotel had a big pool which was fun to enjoy.

My room key didn’t work the first time I used it. To open my room. Then the other key didn’t work so I had to go downstairs in my pjs to get new room keys. The room didn’t have a mini fridge.

The rooms were clean. Hotel was clean. Beds were soft and comfy & room was big. The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, tv, and desk. Love the walk in shower. Cause of covid there was no breakfast but they have a $10.00 credit to the room you could use to buy some breakfast stuff. There was 2 pools indoor and outdoor, a nice view to take in as you walk around and gazebo. Bar and restaurant on property. Gas station, dunkin donuts, and a diary queen was close by. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There were a lot of kids at the hotel as well but I didn't hear them or see them till we saw the pool. They look like they were having fun. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and was a nice size.

The pillows flatten rather quickly. And the halls were pretty warm. Since it's summer would have liked it a bit cooler. But room ac worked just fine.

So many things were closed in the hotel...... Restaurant, bar even the executive lounge/coffee area. Room keys are a challenge. We struggled with ours and other guests were complaining to the clerk, one was returning for his third set. Rooms are exceptionally dark even with all the lamps on.
