Hyatt Place Princeton

The heated pool is fantastic,. the staff was helpful and great. Also, they seem to be always around, Which is such a huge plus these days. The breakfast was pretty great too, served till 9:30.

The one issue that we had upon arrival was an incorrect room that wasn't completely clean . it was a long drive and although we were given a handicapped room, it was supposed to be a double. When we got up there, it was a bed and a sofa. I had previously clicked on the double handicap room not the bed and sofa handicap room while booking.. While the bed was made and the towels and the bathroom itself was clean, the rest of the room clearly was not. I saw a couple crumbs and dust and marks on tables and such. However luckily for me I have always brought antibacterial wipes into hotels even before covid just to make sure it's clean!

The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Convenient location to Princeton University.

The Hyatt's system was down. We never got a room key and had to have a staff member let us in every time we wanted to get into our room. Things happen, but it was disappointing that the issue was not fixed promptly, we stayed two nights. At night I could hear the other families in their rooms down the hall. The children may have been going back and forth between rooms. I could not call front desk as the system was down.

The beds are really comfortable and the breakfast was good with a wide variety, including plenty of gluten free options. The desk set up was great and the A/C worked well, even with high temperatures outside! The location is convenient to many things (shopping, restaurants, and Princeton University).

I wish there had been a microwave in the room. The toilet/shower room was pretty tight in space and the door nearly touched the edge of the toilet when opening.

Staff is very friendly and helpful

I stayed at Hyatt in JC earlier (other location), the facilities were much better, and breakfast was way better. also, I paid better price for the stay earlier at another Hyatt. It seems that Hyatt saves on every little bit of a services / facilities. But the staff saved my stay.

Location had easy access to Princeton. the pool was nice, big enough to actually swim in. Breakfast was pretty good, nice that they changed the sausages ever day. Room was big enough for family of four. Staff was nice.

Windows do not open, room was either too cold or too warm. The weather was perfect so a shame we couldn’t just open the windows.Mattress on couch was uncomfortable. Too bad evening bistro not open. Only snack food.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the room to be big enough for a family of 4. We had two double beds and a pull out couch. Breakfast in the morning was good and convenient especially when you have kids traveling with you. We also liked the pool. Two amenities which drove me to pick this hotel. Not to mention it was centrally located to what we were going to be doing in New Jersey.

The price was a little expensive. We paid over two hundred a night but the room was maybe worth around $175.00 a night. Didn't like the fact that there were only double beds.

I liked that it was very close to everything. I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the office Christmas party. it wasn’t really loud at all. my smoke alarm was beeping but they changed the battery in 2 seconds. breakfast was good, it’s exactly as pictured. I would stay again.

in the shower, there was this blue stuff near the drain and on the actual floor of the shower not super big, but I wasn’t sure what that was. It also didn’t wash away so that was the only con.

Breakfast is as a plus and the room size and comfort was perfect. Enjoy having a separate area of the family and desk.

air conditioning was not functioning well and bathroom door too big to manage when entering and exiting. Recommend to check room temperature is working properly because at night is difficult to communicate issue.

I really was impressed with the room size, amenities in the room and how the sinks were outside of the bathroom

I know all hotels use rugs which for me is good and bad. Rugs retain smells and many other things. Rugs I feel can look dingy and make a hotel look dirty when it may not be. I was not crazy about any rugged area in my room during this stay

The rooms are adequate. We took two rooms, one with disability access. The rooms met our expectations. They were spacious with extra living space. The location was great for us too. It is on Route 1, next two a shopping mall with a Starbucks and quite a few eateries around.

If I have to, I will request more lights in the rooms. It seems the rooms could use some more illumination.
