Hyatt Regency Princeton

Even though it is not a small hotel, it felt cosy. The staff at the bar & breakfast were a lovely bunch, very friendly. The food for dinner was yummy (for a hotel). The room was spacious, the bed comfy. The little coffee shop came in handy.

The staff at reception was not at its best. When I arrived, there was no real friendly welcome. When I left, the staff gave me a feeling that they were still very tired. As a guest, I actually do not care (even as a person I do). That you can handle definitely better. The other thing: the windows were quite dirty from the outside (and no, that was not because of Canadian wildfires :) ...)

The staff were so nice, happy to do their jobs with a smile on their faces, spacious hotel, value for the deal through booking.com, ample parking, 24 hour fitness, beautiful lounge/work area, in house restaurant and an additional coffee bar area. The pool was big and spacious but there's a catch. Coffee and tea are available in the room. Toiletries and towels were enough for two. I enjoyed having a private balcony. I'm glad I did get the deal for breakfast to be included in our stay because these little vouchers covered a $60-$70 bill for breakfast for two during our stay. The breakfast is top quality that you would expect at a really good restaurant and there's a large breakfast buffet on Fri-Sat-Sun.

The pool area was so cold, the fans in the pool area were all on and at the max speed, doors were open so bugs came to bite several times. No microwave in the room and you had to pay to see movies on demand $24.99/movie and my TV code never worked to link my device to the TV. I experienced an allergic reaction and I'm not sure if it was the bedsheets, the feathers in the pillows and duvet or the rug. The hotel location is great, and you can go shopping just a few minutes away.

Room was beautiful. It was updated and modern, comfortable bed. Great TV.

Would have liked to have seen a newer walk in shower with glass doors, instead of an older tub/shower combination. When I checked in, I asked the front desk person if I could pay cash when I checked out. I was told yes. When I checked out the next day, the front desk people told me that I couldn't pay cash and had to use a credit card since the booking was through a 3rd party. I was not pleased. That didn't make sense to me.

This is our favorite place to stay in the Princeton area outside of the Nassau Inn. It is very close to campus, a beautiful hotel with a wonderful lobby and restaurant/bar, plus a small shop with drinks/snacks/etc. Parking is easy and access to the Princeton campus is very simple. The rooms are always clean and well-maintained.

Staff were very efficient and service-oriented. They understood that we were in a hurry and did their best to fit our schedule. Being surrounded by such people can make your stay pleasant! The surroundings are beautiful, all green and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and crispy croissant and muffin, omelette with mozzarella all arranged in a nice way on the plate.

There was nothing we did not like about the hotel.

our housekeeper didn’t clean our room properly. we drop some rice and Doritos from the children. I picked up most of the rice and chips before housekeeping came when we got back in the room.after housekeeping I still seen rice on the floor and a piece of chip that I missed from picking them up. they didn’t wipe any countertops or tabletop off. the housekeeping needs more training.

Spacious, fantastic facilities (excellent restaurant, mini-market, gym, etc.) Very quiet room. Well-equipped.

Room needed to be refreshed (some dirt and spots, rust around the windows and HVAC system, etc.) Poor insulation: big drafts (especially from the terrasse door), I had to buy a small radiator to feel warm. Then it was great. Poor water pressure in the shower/bathtub.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. Some lovely places to sit in the lobby.

The pool area looks a lot nicer in the pics but was quite ordinary in reality. No jacuzzi. Good coffee in the room but very wasteful sugars, sweeteners and creamers all in one package. Much better to separate them out (and provide half-and-half.

The location worked well for our trip, had a family funeral. We really appreciated the overall atmosphere— the bar was great with a fantastic bartender and excellent cocktails. Nice clean room.

The staff wasn’t the most welcoming. Room needed some tending as far as paint/ walls and deep cleaning… overall mostly clean.

The property and room was clean, and the staff welcoming and pleasant. Pool being opened was a plus. Their covid safety was extremely comforting. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

I was so upset to learn that I paid extra for a balcony that was indoors to there main lobby. At first I was ok not too bad because there lobby is beautiful but then at 8:am I was awakened by screaming adults and children, so clearly not happy about that. Next I wanted to make coffee in my room but I always run a test run of water only to be sure nothing nasty comes out of the coffee maker. Well and after 6 test runs nothing but black nastiness came out. So I figure ok I’ll try there electric kettle, and I was so turned off by what came out of that I was completely turned off. I’ve visited many hotels and this one has had the most dirtiest appliances I’ve seen.
