Hampton Inn Alamogordo

They were very accommodating. I forgot to ask to have my rewards added on and the front desk clerk was very helpful in adding them to my account.

I thought that the breakfast area was clean and there was quite the variety for food. I am a picky eater and did not have the breakfast because there were not enough things for my liking so we chose to go to a breakfast place near by. My husband tried the food and was not particularly impressed with the sausage but, no one else seemed to have a problem. For future reference, plain eggs are fine. They do not need to be Denver omelets. :)

Breakfast was good with excellent waffles to cook, as well as breads/bagels/muffins, eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. Free coffee/hot chocolate at all times available in lobby. snacks available in lobby for purchase. Beds were comfortable. Cable tv, air conditioning and heat were good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom door was a slide to close which was awkward to use at times. Shower head pressure was weak causing longer showers to remove soap. Hot tub was out of order. Ice machines didn't work on second floor. Could hear footsteps clearly upstairs.

Well located with fairly easy access to the main road. Room was clean and comfortable. Luggage carts were available to bring in our stuff from the car. Light breakfast available.

Breakfast choices were somewhat limited by the time we got to the lobby. Most of the guest clearly work early. A bit too much high fat and salt in what was available. It had rained the day before and every guest that was an oil field worker left a lot of NM in the parking lot. Great care was needed to avoid a huge mess. Not their fault in particular but still had to be dealt with.

Loved my room. Plenty big for me and very clean. The bathroom must have been recently redone and it was very nice. New tile, nice shower. Door to bathroom was a barn door, which is so convenient. Someone gets a Gold Star for the design. Bed was really comfortable and I slept really good!

Fortunately it is a quiet area at night, but I could clearly hear traffic noise and conversations from the parking lot. I looked at the windows in the morning and it appears they aren't closing tightly. The hotel should look into this as it could be an issue on cold or hot days. Plus, people with better hearing than me could find it inconvenient.

Everything about this hotel was good. Great pool. Was able to eat dinner at Chili's and walk back to the hotel. It's literally 200 feet or so away, which is great if you want a couple of drinks before turning in. 20 minutes from the White Sands National Park.

I have zero complaints other than the bed could have been a smidge more comfortable.

The bath and shower designer must have been 6'-6" tall. The shower head was excessively high. Impossible to reach the water jet adjustments for a person smaller than 5'- 7". The shower curtain was so high that it barely reach the tub. Therefore there was water all over the floor. This too bad because the rest of the facilities were excellent.

Could not connect to the internet on the booking site said it was pet friendly luckly my dog is a service animal or he wouldn't of been able to stay and i would of lost all the money the room costed and the price of him being able to stay was a bit ridiculous 75 extra dollars puting the room cost over 200 for one night

Rooms are a little on the smaller side, however very clean and comfy. Ashley at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. She is a great asset to the hotel. The women we had for housekeeping on our floor were very friendly and were very good at their jobs.

Wish the room had more than just one chair to sit in.

Breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly and courteous.

The light at night coming from the hall was coming into the room even tho the door was closed. There is no seal to the door so you hear EVERYthing, in the hall.

Room was spacious and included two desks which allowed both me and my friend to use our laptops simultaneously. Bathroom temperature was about 5 degrees warmer than rest of the room, which is perfect! Hotel was located within easy walking distance to several dining restaurants.
