Hikers Cimarron Inn & RV Park

The room was charming, comfortable and western-styled. Each room has a slightly different theme. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were plush and the hot water plentiful. More importantly the hospitality of the proprietor, Steven, was exceptional. We hit a deer just short of Cimarron and limped into Hiker’s Inn. Steven helped us access the damage and put us in touch with all the right folks who could help us. An added bonus is that the Hiker’s coffee shop, also run by Steven and his wife, is just across the street. Fabulous coffee and tea drinks, as well as yummy cinnamon rolls and other pastries.

The location was perfect, and the bathroom facilities super--especially the new shower. We enjoyed the more relaxed feeling in this small town. The two fans in the room helped a great deal.

There was no air conditioning (probably not needed most days). We were traveling during record breaking heat with AC in the car that could not keep up and had been relying on AC to recover from the long days of driving. As noted, the two fans helped dissipate the heat.

Close to Philmont, right on the main drag of Cimarron, historic. Super nice family owned too.

It’s a stretch to come up with something I didn’t like about Hikers Cimarron Inn. Closest thing to a negative is slightly cramped parking, but even that criticism is a stretch, as the place and family who owns is great. Rates better than the other hotel in town too.

A great location! This motel is full of character and the family who run it are wonderful. Fair value for money, and a good spot to explore northern NM from. Very grateful for the communal microwave in the office too!

Would have loved a fridge in our room to help keep food fresher!

The room and the motel itself were super cute. The owner was very nice and we had no problems. We were warned about leaving food in the car so we brought everything in, and there was plenty of room for our things.

I don't have any big complaints. The room was fine and I slept well.

The location was great for our craft fair the next day. The rooms was comfortable and quiet. The owner was great and very helpful.

The TV was small and location at strange angle. The remote required a degree but overall no worries.

Older hotel but was very nice. Very clean and well maintained. A diamond in the rough. Rooms are themed and very nicely decorated. Quiet and comfortable.

Great family owned business! Super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the ski room and it was clean and very comfortable. Loved being able to park right outside our room!

I brought food to heat up and didn't realize there was no microwave, also nothing was open in town. Just something to keep in mind if you're arriving in the evening.

Clean and unique. Owner is very nice. His coffee shop across the road is really unique, and the coffee is great.
