Best Western Cannon A.F.B.

We stopping here to break up a long drive and it was wonderful. We got in late and Mona Lisa at the front was very welcoming and offered bottled water. Check in was easy and quick and we were able to get to bed. The next morning the “to go” breakfast was more than I expected and, who I am assuming was the manager, was super nice and helpful, offering to go above and beyond to offer us different breakfast items. If we travel though here in the future, we will definitely stay here again. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. I normally don’t do reviews but the staff here was so great, I had to!

The hotel and the room were clean. The room and the bed were comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Price was somewhat high for this property. It is right across the highway from the very active BNSF railroad tracks and you will be woken up by trains 2-3 times a night.

Loved the queen/king suite. Perfect for 3 kids. We also had 2 dogs and $20/dog is a good deal. Loved that breakfast went until 11am! Felt so relaxed. Pool was perfect temperature-no freezing kids. We loved our stay.

It’s right across the street from an active trail line. You’ll hear it all night.

I loved the reception area after a long drive and I cannot believe the variety of foods they have for a Covid grab and go breakfast. The manager was able to check us in early and willing to give us a room on the ground floor since my husband is disabled. When we got to our room we found it is spacious and the beds were excellent. The hotel is just a block off the highway so it's not too noisy

Room was clean

Thin walls. Reading lights on night table did not work. Fire alarm went off by accident early in the morning because someone was baking bread and forgot about it. There were no senior discount, retired military discount, or government employee discount offered.

The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. A/C worked well so I slept great! Staff was super friendly and helpful. I was offered a complimentary bottle of water on check-in and check-out.

Nothing. A great overnight stay on a road trip

Front Desk people were very! friendly and helpful. Cleaning Staff brought me a pair of reading glasses I'd forgotten (while loading car). Nice breakfast buffet.

*minor issue only; shower drain was clogged and backed up quickly (did drain about the time shower done...) -we forgot to mention that to the staff before checking out though

Location and facility

Breakfast unsatisfactory, no sausage and bacon seriously?? Covid is not an excuse for poor selection. Either serve breakfast or not!!! Best western quality of breakfast has deteriorated. “Free breakfast” became a thing for a reason. Travelers want convenience and a satisfied tummy before going back to the roads again. We are no different from truck drivers!

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and fresh smelling, not musty. The bathroom was clean and stocked with enough towels and T.P.

My only complaint is that the bed was a little too hard for me.

We were traveling with a teenager and a great dane so we reserved the two room suite. The room was huge. It surpassed our expectations. I am in the process of planning our next trip to Clovis and this is the hotel we will be staying at again. We had a great experience!
