Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clovis

Breakfast was amazing, best eggs and fried potatoes we've ever had at a hotel. Normally we avoid breakfast as most places serve half cooked runny eggs and burnt potatoes but not here. There breakfast was cooked to perfection and tasted great.

Facility shows its age and is in major need of upgrades to the rooms. Previous repairs to the bathroom in our room where you can see they had to go into the wall to make plumbing repairs were just covered up with a can of foam and they just painted over it. Kudos for ingenuity but not so appealing to guests.

It was really quiet to where I could get a good night sleep after driving 9 hours. As well as the room that I had was VERY CLEAN and NICE. When I checked out the receptionist who was different than when I checked in was very polite and wished me safe travels for my next destination

Upon arrival I was waiting for the receptionist get done with another customer so that I could check in. But noticed that when she would cough 😷 she wasn't covering her mouth nor just step away for a moment. With everything that's going on with COVID and everything else it would've been respectful for her to cover her mouth especially when I traveled with my child and would be around people who have compromised health issues

The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good with a good variety of options. I like the fact that I was able to get a ground floor when it wasn't guaranteed at booking. Staff was friendly and I would stay here again.

There wasn't much not to like, but if I had a negative, it would be that maintenance needs to take more pride in their workmanship. Being a retired General Contractor/Project Manager, attention to detail in the installation of baseboard molding and finish caulking is a must.

Bed was comfortable room was cleaned front desk was very helpful and nice.

When I showered my water kept getting hotter or colder at times. Also the toilet paper holder is coming out of the wall. Needs a little TLC but overall I loved it. I do remodeling so if y’all ever need anything reach out to me I’d love to earn your business (806)281-0949 Quaylon McDaniel

Every time I come to Eastern NM I stay at this older property for its fair price, easy access right off the highway, proximity to restaurants, and gas stations, but primarily, I like the beautiful inner courtyard and always ask for a room facing it..it's like a little green oasis in the middle of the arid, flat plains.. and it buffers the 24hr train noise somewhat. My most recent visit I noticed the motel has undergone some reno and freshening up which was nice: the old carpet was replaced with vinyl flooring, new art on the walls, bathroom fixtures looked new etc. Unfortunately for moi, the mattress was new and very firm. I tossed and turned all night and had to check out the next day and go to a more 'comfort'able motel on the north end of town. Front desk person was very pleasant about returning my money. I never make free breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

Firm mattress alert! Be forewarned..

Newly refurbished and spacious room. We were literally the only guests in the whole wing and had an incredibly quiet night. Breakfast was good standard. There are huge unused areas in the hotel (in January) what makes ist a bit strange but it is a great hotel with nice and helpful staff.

No trash can in the bathroom.

Always enjoy staying at this hotel specifically for it's location and that it use to be the town's old holiday inn and was the best hotel growing up. The staff is wonderful and the courtyard are great. Hopefully renovations will be all done soon but glad to see they are happening.

Didn't like that I was put right next to a room that was getting the flooring replaced. Luckily it was just a few hours of extreme annoyance but got through it. I'd rather of heard the train then the construction.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was great.

The trains run close by with significant frequency, and can be a bit loud. The couple next door was also easily heard through the connecting door between the rooms.

Bed was comfortable nice room an nice scenery well satisfied will definitely stay at the day’s inn again no doubt just need a nice hot breakfast plenty of room inside the room’s has bar inside hotel so no drinking an driving !!

The room was very clean, and the location was close to our event. Staff was kind, and they found a way for us to check in when the computer was down.

The mattress was a little too firm for my preference.
