Days Inn by Wyndham Roswell

The location was great, easy access and right in the center of everything. One direction led to bigger chain stores and restaurants while the other led to the museums, exhibits, and independent stores/restaurants. The staff was very friendly (from the front desk gal to the cleaning ladies). Our room was clean, looked nice (decor wise), the bed was comfy, a nice selection of cable channels, towels/sheets were clean, and the AC worked very well. Lastly the price was good for the 2 day/3 nights we were there. I would definitely utilize them again if I'm ever down that way.

My only disappointment is that there were no laundry facilities for guests. I understand that not all hotels offer that but it would have been a great addition if they simply had 2 coin washes and dryers to use. It appears that a lot of construction/labor guys utilize this location for the night while working so I'm sure this would be something they would utilize as well. Just a thought! Otherwise it was all good, no real complaints.

Hotel is conveniently located close to restaurants, stores and shopping! We stayed here for the annual Alien festival and enjoyed our trip! Room was clean and staff was very friendly.

When we first entered the room it smelled alot like cigarette smoke so we reported it right away to the staff because the rooms are non-smoking and we didn't want to get charged. Staff quickly assigned us another room and it was great. Only disappointment was the connecting doors inside the room because It gets noisy with neighbors next door. You can hear everything and the doors are by the restrooms 😫 probably wouldn't stay here again because of this.

Convenient location to Roswell airport (15 minutes) and highways 285, 380 and 70. Five minutes to Roswell downtown. Reception staff were welcoming, helpful wirh restaurant suggestions and directions to rhe airport and highways. The property, though located on Main Street, was quiet. All features, cable tv, plumbing, heating and cooling system are new and good quality. comfortable desk and workspace with plenty of a/c and USB charging out lets at the desk and on both sides of a comfortable king bed, with quality linens. Above all the rooms were extremely clean with quality linens. This (pet friendly) Days Inn was a surprising, comfortable experience at great price!

Seemingly clean (though there was a long hair on one of the fresh bath towels when I just checked in, but it's not uncommon especially if the cleaner has bad eyesight or doesn't check them with great attention); healthy breakfast, pretty much like what I eat at home everyday, love the cheese omelette; location better than most other hotels, walking distance to restaurants such as Amigo's and Pasta, Starbucks just across the street, and all the gift shops on Main Street. A 20 mins walk to the UFO museum. Staff was helpful, one sweet receptionist helped me find private drivers when I was left as the last and passenger at the airport around midnight while there were no Ubers, no taxi cabs, and no public transport. Yuck.

There was one night guests in other rooms talking loud in a foreign language. I assume the rooms may not be sound proof?

Martha at the desk was like a good will ambassador for Roswell. We didn't even have to go to the Visitor Center. She gave us a list of place to eat, things to see and told us about the Bottomless Lakes State Park. The room was clean and comfortable. This was one a the best breakfast places on our trip. Most didn't have any hot food. They had eggs and sausage & biscuits besides cereal, bagels and juices. Great place to stay! I'd recommend staying here.

Air conditioner, beds, breakfast, was all wonderful. Location was very central, easy access to everything. Was all and all a good stay. The housekeeping staff was very nice, as was the front desk.

We had an issue with our room flooding from a clogged shower drain. We ended up staying another night, and we were able to change rooms so it was fine. It did get a little sketchy at night, but I feel like that is most motels where the doors to the rooms are outside. I wish there had been a guest washer/dryer.

Super friendly staff. We had a great stay at Days Inn by Wyndham in Roswell, New Mexico. The check-in was fast and the lady in the reception was super friendly. The rooms are new and there is no carpet in any of the rooms. The room itself is quite spacious and clean. There is an ice maker near the rooms. We were on the upper floor and had a good nights sleep. It was quite silent for being right next to one of the main roads. We can definitely recommend staying here when visiting Roswell.

It was like a 4 or even 5 star hotel! Everything was outstanding. Comfortable bed, large room, fridge, microwave, pool, . . . everything was great! Very quiet and great location (a Starbucks directly across the street! Like 20 yards from my room!) Breakfast was awesome.

The only thing I could complain about was the coarseness of the towels. They were like old white towels (clean of course), but they were the opposite of soft. Other than that everything was fabulous.

Our checking in with Martha was fabulous. She was determined I knew all I needed to know. Great help with what there was in Roswell, and good local restaurant recommendation. We parked right outside our room. Bed was roomy and very comfortable.

Sadly we had a loud knock on our door at 1030pm (I got up but no idea who it was - I did not open door). Also the lady in room to our side made a very loud telephone call around about midnight. She was absolutely shouting into her phone - so selfish.

We left Roswell, NM where our grandson's high school was playing in a tourney and winning. We decided to go to Ruidoso for old memories and good luck. Great memories.. poor gambling ..

The new smoking law???I can see both sides but having people standing on the street smoking...automatically arrested, jailed and fined $500.00. I understand the side of fires and fire depts. My husband is a fire chief...but jailing smokers for failure to follow some rule/law that smokers can't smoke outside...the air belongs to? Sidewalks in front of shops considered private property? Everyone arrested and jailed who is smoking on the sidewalks window shopping. There has to be a better way.
