Rodeway Inn Tucumcari

I am a 76 year old woman who was caught in the blizzard in Tucumcari. I usually stay at the Hilton, and of course all was full before I arrived. My daughter, who was in CA, was able to talk to your desk management while I crept to the hotel at 5 miles an hour on ice, I am handicapped, so ease of access to the room and the bathroom design was paramount to me. Both expectations were exceeded. I actually had my best night's sleep on my 7 day journey from Oakland CA to WDC at your hotel. Your staff person there is EXCELLENT at his job, both thoughtful and a great business person.

This is silly, and not a dislike, but I notice all the furniture was furniture I donated before I retired when I downsized. So, it was in excellent taste, but a little worn, as I was.

It was clean and the appliances worked. The front staff when I checked in was very nice, but the morning one, not so much.

The continental breakfast was not worth walking to the lobby for. The fruit was beyond ripe and there was nothing nutritional at all.

Location good, close to freeway, but quiet. Breakfast was a plus.

we got to breakfast at 7:30 am and most of the choices for bagels or sweet rolls were gone. I usually have hard boiled eggs & missed having an egg product. Didn't find the tea until leaving as it was in the lobby, so a sign would be nice telling people that.

Gary was an exceptional host, very pleasant, worked hard at making sure that everyone and everything was good. He was working with a customer when I arrived and we talked some while Gary finalized his parties accommodations. He was pleased as well.

There were lights out over the sink. I was too tired to call about it, but told the lady as I was checking out. Continental breakfast looked good, but I just grabbed a little something I could eat on the road. Would recommend Rodeway to stay. Plus you should take a drive up the road after dark to see the neon on buildings on Route 66!

A polite young man checked us in and gave us a ground floor room. The price was amazing as we slept on the most comfortable bed since beginning our road trip 2 weeks ago! The room was very clean and we had the usual amenities: coffee maker, fridge, tv, toiletries, a decent light breakfast.

This hotel was clean, friendly, and a good price for a quick one-night stopover. The continental breakfast was also very adequate and clean. Had a nice waffle maker, cereal, bagels w toppings, juices, oatmeal, etc. AC worked very well and the pillows were soft without giving me neck cramps. Will stay again on my way through!

Easy access for traveling. I arrived during a terribly strong thunderstorm with hail and I was able to park close by and get to my room on second floor without too much difficulty. No covered parking overnight and somehow my car did not get damaged. The self-serve morning breakfast was decent.

Clean room, comfortable bed, shower had great water pressure, wifi worked well, tv amazing. We really liked having a table and chairs to eat our meal. Large comfortable room. Local restaurant, Del's, has very good food, pricey but good.

Close to the highway, friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms, decent breakfast, economical rate! For travelers on their way cross country: nearly ideal.

Water out of tap is cloudy. I suppose the water is "hard" (calcium or magnesium dissolved in the water).

Very nice room. Large, the beds were great,, updated bath and room. The only problem we had , the TV wasn't getting a signal,, was quickly corrected. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this site to a friend
