Lovely, large, accomodating room. Clean, well prepared, everything in working order. Great price/value. Everything in the room worked, and it was quiet and restful...exactly what I needed as a solo traveller.

A bit off the beaten path --with a bit of the "Hotel California" vibe -- I was never concerned for my safety, just "...on a dark desert highway ..." away from town and not very many guests for such a large prop. Would def stay there by myself again.

Friendly management. Was able to give us the room we requested. We had stayed there before. Very quiet as there were not many guests there arriving by car. The room was spacious compared to other places and it was clean. The Inn was in the correct area for our trip.

We had a pet which we are grateful to management to allow us to bring it. Maybe a bit steep in extra price for it.

This hotel was everything you'd expect from a road side in. Clean rooms, cold A/C, mini fridge, microwave, coin operated washing machines and it even had a full bar on site. Mike, the owner for the last 16 years, was so friendly and nice. At check-in I mentioned I thought I had booked a double queen room - since I was traveling with my husband and two large dogs we liked the extra space. He informed me I had only booked a single queen, and upon checking my reservation he was correct. He immediately offered me a king room instead to help give us the extra space with the dogs. I was so appreciative. The place didn't have a fenced in dog area, but did have a huge patch of dirt/sparse grass to let the dogs run around on. It was $10 per dog, and Mike was super friendly about us having them with us. When we later asked if he had laundry detergent we could buy for the machine he said no, but he would provide us some and delivered a cup of detergent to our room. We also enjoyed some ice cold, reasonably priced beers in the bar attached to the hotels lobby.

In all fairness the rooms were slightly outdated. However this is exactly what I expected and wanted from an old Route 66 road side motel - I think it is what gave it its appeal and charm.

Very Quiet, since there were not too many others. Nice clean Room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They lowered our rate a bit because the prices were reduced since our reservation.

We had a dog which we paid a fee for. We expected that and it was fine. But most of the area for walking the dog had many thorns that got onto the dogs feet and that inhibited our exercise. However these are common in New Mexico and hard to blame the property.

It was by far the cheapest priced toel in town, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the accommodations, far enough off the road to have little noise good enough furnishings. It was a bargain for the price!! To many times you check into a lower level revamped motel and nothing works everything was fine here

Very clean and quite spacious rooms, mostly easily accessible from a colourful courtyard. The room layout is slightly larger than in a standard budget motel, as it has a private dressing/coffee area between bathroom & the main room. The motel office gives a friendly impression, as it contains a private bar with a pool table.

I liked the home-made vibe, but if you like very modern amenities, or immediately responsive staff, then those aren't the main focus here.

When the mercury at my planned campsite at Palo Dura State Park near Amarillo exceeded 105F, I fled to Tucumcari and searched for a hotel. The room was affordable, welcomed my dog, and afforded me a good shower and a quiet night of sleep. No frills, and that was just fine with me. The manager on duty appeared to be the owner, and he was quite pleasant.

No provision for electric car charging. there was not a charging station. Installing some NEMA 14-50 outlet or a J1772 charger would have saved me a trip across town this morning and a half hour at the Tesla supercharger!

It's an old motel that has it's charm, nothing fancy and a little outdated but a comfortable place to rest for the night. Staff was friendly and has a bar to grab a few drinks to end the night.

The town itself needs some work, unfortunately a lot of abandoned motels with few survivors. Wish I could have traveled and spent the night during it's glory days.

Cute & comfy hotel. The owner Mike is a super nice guy and very welcoming. He's put a lot of effort in keeping the nostalgic route 66 look. It's the only place in town with a bar (besides restaurants)! 5 Stars, Mike. Thanks for your hospitality!
