Lovely Victorian home. We had a second floor room (all rooms are on the 2nd or 3rd floor). There are two rooms on that floor with a shared bathroom. Bed was VERY comfortable and our room also had a fully equipped kitchen. The only thing lacking was grounded outlets. There was one in the kitchen, which I used to plug my laptop charger into, otherwise pack some adaptors. Very quiet room and neighborhood. On street parking - there was always a spot for us right in front of the house. It you love older homes you'll LOVE this place. Breakfast was excellent and varied each morning with just about anything you want and more. Lovely host. Staten Island Ferry is 3.5 miles away with parking that is a maximum of $25/day - a real bargain - and the ferry is free. I didn't rate it a 10 because, well, 10 is perfect and 1 is the absolute worst, so I never rate places 1 or 10. When you consider breakfast for two plus the room, I believe this place is a real bargain.

More grounded outlets or adaptors. The host may have had some but I didn't think to ask.

House and owner absolutely perfect. Breakfast good and abundant, with plenty of choices.

There are no words to properly describe just how great our stay is at the inn. It was our second time in 2 months and every time we are at the inn we are already talking about planning our next stay. Danuta is a beautiful person and has a wonderful home. She puts in the best of everything. If anyone wants to get away and stay at an old Victorian home and enjoy just relaxing in a clean beautiful old world home,so old world, then this is the place to be.p

There was not anything we didn’t like

We thought the Bed and Breakfast was a very charming home. It had marble fireplaces in all the rooms. Lots of antiques and art displays. The location was perfect, we were taking a cruise. Going to the cruise ship in the morning was seamless. It was very nice meeting the owner, Danuta. She was the best host!

Nothing.

Danuta is a wonderful host who treats her guests like family. She cooks delicious breakfasts, including toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit salad, asparagus . . . Did I miss anything? I'm sure I have but I was not disappointed one bit with the meal at the start of the day.

I didn't like that I had to leave at the end of my stay there and to return my normal, mundane life in a regular house without colorful wallpaper and antiques all about the place.

When we arrived we met the most wonderful woman who owns the most beautiful home. It was amazing beyond words and we felt like we didn’t want to leave and wish we could have taken the home owner home. The beautiful old decor so rich and so inviting and comforting. Danuta is so sweet and so warm to talk with. We are already talking about planning our next stay, can’t wait!

Honestly, I can’t think of anything that was not good. We couldn’t have had a better time away from home.

The place is beautiful. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We had options as to when we desired breakfast and what we desired for breakfast. The location was just three miles from the St. George Ferry Terminal. Very easy to get to from the B&B.

Some streets are narrow, but still easy to navigate.
