Days Inn by Wyndham Sidney OH

We reserved a double room because we've noticed hotels, in general, are hit and miss with pillows and towels. We moved to a king bed and a great location, but we had to ask for extra towels. We got in and needed to shower after work before dinner but also wanted to shower before work in the morning. We were told we could ask housekeeping but they don't come in until 9 and we would be gone long before then. A hot shower and good towels really help for a pleasant stay.

Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

They ask for a cash deposit even when you have already paid with a card. It was given back to us when we checked out after the room was checked. This is something I thought other people might want know and be prepared for before checking in.

The manger was very accommodating and helpful went out of his way to help. I will be returnong before and after country concert every year !

Toilet had a hard time flushing; very outdated with cracks in the paint.

The pillows were Lumpy

Bed was comfortable, tv was good.

Shower pressure was a bit hard and the tub kind of small, there was NO breakfast like advertised, hallways had a stale musty smell.

Property is little out dated, but they have great staff members and there willing to help you with anything you possibly could need.

Property needs a facelift and a little painting here and there. It’s a little out dated in areas of the hotel.

Location was good. Hotel appeared run down. Honestly I wanted to cancel but we stayed since we were going to be charged. We had trouble with our TV and the phone didn't work, but we have cell phones so it wasn't a huge issue. Our room was clean and I was surprised that the bed was comfortable. The parking lot was practically empty; other hotels were busy compared.

Parking close to room . 15-20 drive to country concert. 89$ a night , cheap but you get what you pay for ! Friendly hostess that checked us in.

Security door by parking lot broken . Aka anyone could walk up to your room door at anytime !! So unsafe and scary feeling . Hotel air conditioning off/ broken , lobby dirty and out dated . Actual hotel room : wall paper hanging off walls, broke lamp cover , dirty pillow cases , dirty towel left on floor when we walked into the room . Cheap and rough linen on bed . Random small holes in the walls. Hotel located next to loud and busy highway . Window curtain burnt with a lighter or match maybe ?! Carpet in room dirty , stained , and outdated .

About the only thing was the location

It was dirty, I had to wait for about 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, my room was dirty, there was no advertised breakfast, all in all it was a horrible experience at $100.
