Stratford House Inn

This is a two star motel that was better than some three star hotels that I’ve stayed in. Location was perfect with regard to access to interstate as well as moving around Edmond. The parking lot had plenty of spaces that were well lit. We felt safe. There were restaurants close by. The towels were clean and the shower head had good strength for rinsing my hair. There were plenty of towels as well as pillows in the room. The room itself was very clean… No dust anywhere. our daughter lives in Edmond and we plan to stay here every time we visit. We highly recommend it. 

Not one thing.

For the price I paid I was at first worried about what to expect. I was blown away. The shower was awesome great pressure. The pillows were the best. I've stayed in higher priced hotels and never was satisfied with those 2 things. Bed was very comfortable, slept like a baby. I would definitely stay there again.

I honestly had no complaints. The place was awesome. It met all my needs and then some. I would recommend to anyone in need of a hotel. The price fooled me. Staff was very kind. What more could you ask for.

The room I stayed in at the Stratford house was clean, and the staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The most important thing is that the staff accommodated my mother, who has a physical handicap where she needs to use a walker. The staff made sure she had a room easy to access on the first floor. We were able to park right in front of the room and get her in and out without trouble. In addition to the helpful staff, the Stratford House Inn is conveniently located, where it is easy to walk to several stores like Walgreens. There are also plenty of restaurants and delivery places in the area. The neighborhood also feels safe, busy, and public. The morning breakfast was standard items you would expect to find, like a few baked goods, cereal, and fruit.

There was only one issue with the hotel; our mattress. My partner and I are in our early 30’s and we both woke up feeling sore and headachy from lousy sleep. The king-sized mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, and it was hard to fall asleep on that bed.

The check in was really perfect, very quick and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable and nothing was broken. This exceeded my expectations as a place to stay. It was also a quiet neighbourhood at night, but lots of shops/food etc on the doorstep

The car park isn't quite laid out well enough for a couple of rooms in the corner so you couldn't park directly outside. Minor point though!

First impression, the room was very nice, clean, and smelled pleasant and decently large. The air conditioning was turned on so the room temperature was comfortable when we first stepped into the room. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. The room included all of the usual amenities...hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. I'm not sure if there was an iron/ironing board as I didn't have a use for one so did not look. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast so I can't comment on that but I smelled waffles when I went into the office to check out. If I am ever in Edmond again, I will most likely stay here.

The beds were very firm. I prefer a firm bed but the one I slept on was uncomfortably firm. I forgot to mention this to the lady at the desk, but the bedside table had not been cleaned out. We found a large opened bag of chips and a lip balm. The parking lot seemed too small to accommodate all of the guest's automobiles and guests were having to park along the curb.

Clean, comfortable and quiet.

There was issue with the sink. Since I arrived late no maintenance staff to repair it. The next morning the front desk sent someone to fix it right away. They offered me a different room after I arrived but I was so tired and did not want to move my luggage I elected to keep the room and just work around the problem. I give them A for effort to make it right,

This hotel is located close to any necessary businesses, shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Check in staff was helpful.

Spotless cleanliness everywhere & everything. Like new spacious rooms - all amenities included! 6 - 9 am free breakfast. Smiling helpful staff - like family - always instantly available - never "Back in Minutes". A complete package aimed at customer satisfaction.

Air conditioner filters needed a quick cleaning - done with a smile promptly by always available staff. I did not like how poorly other hotels in the area compared to this places' excellence!! Nit-pickers will be left speechless.

The staff was friendly and professional. The bed was clean and comfortable. The establishment was close to a doctor's office where I had an appt.

The headboard in the room was a bit grimey and it was hard to get the room temperature regulated. The lighting in the room was really bright. It would be nice if you could dim the lights. What happened to the Holy Bible being in a drawer?. I thought it odd that there wasn't one.

The room was spacious around 2 Queen beds. Clean! Bathroom was nice, and vanity was large and well stocked- right down to makeup remover. Our crew of 4 were comfortable and happy Check-in was smooth and courteous. I had told them we would have a late check in on Thanksgiving night, and the heat was blowing in our room when we got there—That was sucha nice touch! We skipped breakfast to go back to grandmas and clean up leftovers from our Thanksgiving feast!

One small inconvenience: the light switch for the bathroom is outside the bathroom. When younger children are going to the bathroom in a strange place, that means everyone gets the lights turned on middle of the night.
