Comfort Inn & Suites Pauls Valley - City Lake

Hotel was better than expected based on some reviews we had read. Actually intended to book another hotel but booked this one by mistake. Pleasantly surprised. The room was clean (with one exception) and A/C worked fine. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet. The breakfast was adequate and had more offerings than expected.

There was a bar of soap left in the shower. The rest of the bathroom and the room itself was very clean.

The staff - Lindsey on Reception, and the lady serving breakfast were both exceptional. The pool - lovely and clean, if a little chilly! The room - super, spacious, sparkling. Pillows rather deep - some pillow options would have made it even better. The breakfast - introduction to "biscuits and gravy" - to us, freshly baked scones (pron. "scon") and white sauce; didn't go a bundle on the gravy, but they were tasty with butter and jam! The location - not far from Turner Falls, where we had walked during the day. The Italian restaurant opposite (Roma) - tasty, well-priced meal after our day's walking.

Not much! Just the pillows perhaps. Some ice in the refrigerator would have been nice too.

Front desk receptionist was great - efficient, helpful, respectful. The bed was comfortable. The desk and chair were good for using a computer. Plenty of electrical outlets. The yogurt, fruit, juices, breakfast was very good - omelets, sausage patties, waffle maker, good coffee, breads, muffins, bagels. Good location close to freeway, gas stations,

Nice hotel off the interstate, clean, roomy, with high ceiling. I would definitely stay here again. Good breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages and waffles and one extra juice choice.

Breakfast area relatively small with main seating along the countertop in the middle of the room. 2 or 3 small extra tables with few chairs. All seats at that middle isle were occupied and for our family of 4 there was no place to seat together, luckily another family at the small table finished breakfast and suggested us to seat at their small table, and we were able to fetch another chair to seat altogether... That central countertop along which most people are seating not a perfect solution during the pandemic.

We arrived later in the evening. The older gentleman working was so friendly and efficient. Breakfast was hot and good, just wish there was fresh fruit. The man working the breakfast area was also very nice and constantly cleaning and keeping the area fresh. We didn't use the pool; it looked like a typical hotel pool. The workout room is quite tiny. The room was very clean.

We liked everything about the hotel except a few things about the pool. Good service and friendly staff, also good breakfast. Will be coming back.

Didn't like the fact that the pool had a sort type of salt, but other than that, everything was great.

Regina was great! She works very hard to make sure everything goes well and your stay is to your liking.

Breakfast started to run out about an hour before the cutoff time. Not sure if that was on purpose or your establishment is having a hard time getting supplies like everyone else.

Great location, friendly, helpful staff, very clean.

The cost was a little steep for Paul's Valley -- the cost is comparable with similar hotels IN Norman. If it were a bit less, I'd stay here every time I go to the Norman area (10-12 times annually).

The staff was very very nice and took good care of us. we wish that there was more for breakfast. maybe add more fruit!! The gentleman that heck us in was very good and help us so much.

Me, 2 of my daughters, my son his wife, my granddaughter, and another couple came down for my oldest dsughters graduation. We all enjoyed our stay! A'll the staff were exceptionally friendly, they were helpful and it made our stay that much more pleasant!
