Clatskanie River Inn

Nice space. It was so hot outside; it was really nice to go into a cool room. The bed was good, I didn't wake up hurting. Was able to use the dishes later in the day after buying a Pie from The Berry Patch. The outside grill for use of those staying, along with the back deck and is great.

Breakfast wasn't perfect but it was good. Maybe so good fresh fruit for those of us who have restricted diets. Being able to use the pool or hot pool later in the day would be nice. Being able to freeze things in the frig would have been nice.

Booking unknown, privately run hotels in small towns is always a gamble but this choice was an absolute Win!! The hotel was clean, quiet, room was extremely spacious, and the bed wonderfully comfortable. This choice was the best hotel stay in my last multi week trip through Oregon. Additionally, everything I needed in town was within walking distance and there’s a new laundry facility directly across the hotel parking lot which was very convenient. I would definitely stay again when traveling thru the area.

Breakfast was somewhat limited but what they did have was great. Other reviewers downplayed breakfast so my expectations were low. However, I was pleasantly surprised by what they did offer.

The hotel is in a great location! They have the friendliest staff, wonderful hot cheesy potato casserole for breakfast, and lots of pamphlets for exploring the local area. Pizza place right next door - fast delivery and wonderful thin crust! Room was clean, black-out curtains, small fridge with freezer for the freezer blocks, and a couch. Coffee was fabulous and I was able to fill my water bottle for the road. HIGHLY recommend!!

There wasn't anything about this quaint hotel that I did not like!

Breakfast was decent. Good selection, and very clean dining hall. Only thing that could make it better is if it were more friendly toward those who can’t eat pork. Other than that it was great! Will definitely be staying there again if I come through the area.

Nothing that we could think of. Everything there was exceptional. Maybe parking, but it wasn’t too bad.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, and the room was surprisingly clean. Breakfast had a great selection of items including my kid's favorite make your own waffles. The swimming pool is small but the kids had a lot of fun splashing around.

Nothing this hotel was as expected.

A great place to stay with really helpful staff, perfectly located to explore Astoria and the Fort Stevens & Lewis and Clark parks. Good for nipping over the Astoria-Megier Bridge to Long Beach, Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment too. Has a pool, use of gym and does laundry. Really comfortable beds.

This is a surprisingly good hotel in a beautiful area. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the facilities were pretty modern and clean, it was a nice little walk along the edge of a park to get to the little town center, the room was a good size and comfortable, and checking in and out was a breeze. And there were decent breakfast options!

This place was absolutely just perfect price wise could be a little better considering where your at but considering that we needed rest badly on our trip through and ended up there I wasn't disappointed for being a small business they really got it together and we had an incredible stay the staff were super great kind, helpful ,understanding I got what I needed without any hassle and look forward to ever staying there again come a time it may be required I'm glad I was able to do a review to share my opinion and let them know to keep treating people well cause it doesn't happen often enough thanks guys

That I wasn't able to dip in the hot tub do to routine cleaning but I understood

It is a nice hotel. The room was clean and me being sensitive to cleaners the room air was great. Kudos to the cleaning staff. The nice lady that served us breakfast was very personable and friendly.

The smell of cigarette smoke when i opened the window for fresh air. I'm not sure how that can be fixed though.
