Best Western Pendleton Inn

Location was okay to where we were going to be spending time. Room was cleaner than most Best Western's we've stayed at previously so usually stay away from them for that reason. When we got home, there was a message waiting for me that they found my stainless steel water bottle that my husband set down while packing the car and then didn't pick it up. It had my name on it. Seems trivial, but it was given to me in Tanzania last year for our safaris, as they are trying to get rid of plastic water bottles and it was a very nice reminder of a neat trip.

Breakfast was nothing special, just the usual that you find at some hotels. Also, in their listing, it was not mentioned that they didn't have an elevator to the 2nd floor. I wear a brace on a leg and have to do stairs, one at a time and it took two flights to get to the second floor. I do have to admit that the check in girl tried to find a first floor room but didn't have any and we were able to check in early.

I liked every room had a view; the breakfast prepared and presented by Cathy was fabulous! The hard work of keeping coffee made, everything fresh and food available- a thankless job but very well done

The towels were old and rough. When I pay $$$ to stay for the rodeo for 3 days- I think you can invest in some new towels that are not threadbare and skimpy. Your staff did a great job at presentation- but management needs to provide luxury towels if your goi g to charge luxury prices

Though following Covid guidelines, I thought the breakfast was well done. Coffee, fruit, individually wrapped bagels... The Bed (mattress) was awesome. Room was quiet and slept like a bay!

Fortunately, I walk in and only had to wait for one person in front of me. But when that person left, the customer service rep returned to a customer on the phone (who apparently had been on hold) to find a room. I didn't mind waiting but the line started to grow behind me. Your person behind the counter did great but probably could have used one more help behind the counter to give her a hand.

The suite was perfect for traveling with our small children and being able to have the room separated for the baby to be in one and the toddler in the other

Wasn’t real sure about the main door being unlocked and accessible to any outsiders to come in

The only problem we had was with the toilet. When you flushed it, it wouldn't fill up and quit running. I was also leaking at the valve. We told the office when we checked out. We didn't stay for breakfast.

Other than the toilet issue, everything was good.

The pre-made and reheated food was not good. It would have been better to have the preparer scramble eggs there snd maybe have a waffle maker. The fruit, yogurt and drink options were good. The omelet and sausage biscuit tasted like poor airplane food.

They were short on staff, and the receptionist had to do multiple tasks while trying to staff the front desk. The. toilet in room 101 was rickety. probably needs to be replaced, preferably with a higher seat.

amazing view and very comfortable beds. Very clean and comfortable living space.

Breakfast ended at 9 AM which is pretty early because most places leave it open till 10 AM but I understand if they don't have a lot of guests eating they may close it earlier.

I booked one night online and ask for the same price for the night before cause I came in early and you couldn't match the same rate from a Saturday to a Friday
