Activities were close and fun

This is our go to place for a nice getaway and usually there are no qualms however, this time the upkeep was poor. There should be no reason why the clothes rack should have been so dirty. The bottom of the pool in our room was also dirty, the surrounding wall of our pool was very dust and dirty, underneath the bed was extra dirty, there was a cigarette butt, dust bunnies and a candle underneath it. The time before last they blamed COVID but everything was open this time so there’s no excuse. Also, the chef must be new because food was not that good. Food was overcooked and the soups were salty.

Rooms were excellent as expected and the pool and the champaign glass house was excellent. The music at the bar was excellent. The Dj is fantastic he made our night memorable. i wish to go back there again later in the future.

The only thing i didn't like was the rice. it was very wet. That was the only dislike.

first of all the staff were amazing. unbelievable. everything with a smile. the hotel have a gaming area and bar till midnight, and the rooms have everything you need. well recommend.

not much. maybe can be a bigger bad or something to eat after 10pm

Activities activities. You guys won’t be bored at alll! Staff is very accommodating! Breakfast options -a lot! Diner reservations convenient. You just get time to hang out with your love one,Without having to do all that driving around. Other activities close by like all 5 minutes away! Casino like 4 minutes away. Personal pool was a little strong maybe ask them to check if the cleaning solution is strong in the room before you go. Do it you guys will have so many things to do to enjoy each others company!Dated yes but it doesn’t change the feeling of Love in the air! Do it!

The room, staff, breakfast and dinner were all exceptional. The bars and show room was great as well.

The grounds, while offering a good variety of activities for couples, wasn't very well kept. The peddle and row boats and bridge across the lake wasn't well maintained. Landscaping in general was poorly kept, the hiking trail was so overgrown with tall grass and shrubbery we couldn't complete it and had to turn around. Basketball courts was busted with bent rims and the bocce ball area also was overgrown with grass. The indoor pool area at Spooners bar would have been nice if the two hot tubs were working!

Our room was upgraded to the Champagne Tower, which was fabulous, a fireplace, hot tub in the shape of a 7’ champagne glass, a private heart shaped pool and a sauna. The room was a little worn and dated, but it’s 50 years old and still looked good. Activities and entertainment were good, bowling, indoor mini golf, s’mores, considering it was off season.

We first have to say that almost all the staff were warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond their positions. However there were 2 people that made us and others feel we were imposing on their job, one was on the wait staff and the other was on the activities staff. I won’t mention names, but they should be more like their co-workers, that did their best to make this a magical experience.

Game room and miniature golf outside is very outdated..The public inside pool area definitely needs work..had free breakfast skipped it the next day I wasn't too impressed eggs were dry and bland the fruit and items they had out were good..Also there are no microwaves in the rooms..so be prepared to eat out or get cold food..there is a shop rite close to get snacks etc. I really don't know how to answer if the property met my expectations because it did in some ways but didn't in some..

We loved the atmosphere, the cute signs, that their were things to do, we didn’t have to leave. We chose a Garden of Eden suite, and loved the mini pool! We also enjoyed the outside pool as well, and the game room. We want to give Charlie in maintenance a shout out, as he was super friendly and helpful!

Our room for the most part was clean, however the bathroom floor had a spill of some sort under the fridge door when we went in, So I requested cleaning the next day and the spill was still there. We had the included breakfast Buffett, but opted out of dinner due to cost. Like everywhere you can tell there is a shortage of staff, so being understanding of that, I feel the stay went well.

It was all fantastic, although there could have been more games in the game room. However, my husband and I enjoyed our stay and staff made us feel like family

There weren't enough arcade games in the game room and the indoor pool area was small with little to no privacy from the restaurant area. But that shouldn't be a problem if you have your own pool in your room. I would suggest going with the heated pool in the room. Also, there are no microwaves in case you want to heat up your food after hours of operation
