Lexington Inn and Suites

LOVED the handicap shower. The hardware should be default. Water pressure fantastic. Staff very friendly, professional, & manager was extremely easy on the eye, not to mention, I asked to get a light bulb & it happened almost instantaneously. Housekeeping did not bother me at all. Beds very comfy & I LOVED the soft pillows. I didn't even get to use my own. I did not do breakfast, I'm a night owl.

I'd asked to have the room Vacuumed on Tuesday, checked in Wednesday night. It didn't happen. Room was very humid. The noise, doors slamming, walls getting bumped into, early in the am. Room was 2 doors down from pantry.

I stay in hotels alot since I travel alot. This is one of the better ones I found. About 15 minutes from I-26, numerous resturants close by, and a Target, wal-Mart and Publix within 5 minutes. Pine Grove Sports Complex about 15 min away as well. Parking lot had ample parking. Lobby was clean along with the hallway to the room. The room was pretty clean as well (besides the bathroom). I ran my hand across the furnature and it wasnt dusty or sticky. House keeping came in and made the bed and replenished the used towels, soap and lotion. Housekeeping came around 9:00 the day I checked out. The front desk receptionist was always there and greeted me when I would come and go. Check in and out was fast and easy. Full breakfast with cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, yogurt, juice milk etc, they just made to-go plates for you, which was a huge plus compared to other hotels to-go basic bags.

I had a burn on my sheet. Long black hair in the bathroom, clear hairbow and dirty bottle cap in bathroom as well. Pool was not open.

The staff was great.

The phone in the room didn't work and there were strands of hair in the large towels and wash cloths in the bathroom. That was nasty but things happen. I'm 100% sure that if I'd let the front desk know about the towels they would have made everything right. I didnt mention it to them because everything else was so frigging amazing. We just asked for more towels ( which they brought to us ) without telling the why and we kept on kicking. T

The location was not far from I-20, which is where we needed to be. The room was comfy. The bed slept very well. I could tell the hotel was a little older, but it was kept pretty nice. The breakfast was what I would have expected of Holiday Inn, which was very good! The service was good.

I found hairs in the bathroom, which freaks me out. I found a penny that was left in the bathroom, which to me, says it was not cleaned as good as it should have been. There was a lamp placed in the bathroom because the overhead light did not work, which was unique, but it was okay.

Very comfortable mattress. Clean. Plenty of towels. Good accessible shower. Very professional, friendly staff at check in. Quiet. Very close to hospital where my appointment is. Will definitely come back.

Very clean comfortable and staff were very friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were good.

There was not one thing I didn’t like

The location was great when we needed to go out and get something to eat. The bed was comfortable.

The room was not that big for my husband and his wheelchair.

The front desk guy was very helpful and understanding.

My son had a roach on his bed when he came out of the shower. But they give me a discount on my room.

Location and price

The room had been deodorized or cleaned with some really strong smelling chemicals and the bathroom floor was sticky and dirty.
