Staff was extremely helpful with our stay, after booking.com failed to do their job and confirm the reservation we paid to booking.com online. We arrived at the hotel and an hour and 10 minutes had gone by and the hotel had still not received communication from booking .com. We had just been driving 10 hours and were very tired. We finally paid for our stay directly to the hotel and decided to try to work out the issue we were having with booking.com the next morning. Many conversations back and forth and booking .com is adamant that they confirmed our reservation even though the manager at the hotel kept checking for communication from booking.com and It has been 2 days and I still never received that confirmation email from booking.com. After complaining and telling booking.com I was going to write a review explaining our situation, they offered us a $25 refund. I will never use booking.com again. I will only book reservations directly with the hotels.

This trip was our first experience with Tru hotels. We stayed at 3 during our trip. The mattresses were so comfortable that we ordered a king sized one for our own bedroom. At this location, and the other locations, the room layout was spacious and lacking in clutter. Rooms have numerous USB ports for electronics. The baths, ours were handicapped accessible, are well designed and have plentiful grab bars. The breakfast bar is excellent. Common areas are nicely appointed with games for all ages to enjoy. We have recommended Tru to friends.

Breakfast was fine. Enjoyed the granola and yogurt. I loved having a desk that could be moved around. It allowed me to work on my computer without bothering my husband who was trying to sleep.

The automatic blinds could have worked better. Previously someone had managed to jam up the blackout curtain. Seems like the apparatus may have messed up. We had to work hard to get the blackout curtain unjammed.

Convenient location. Nice pool table in lobby. Excellent gym.

Rooms were smallish. Mold around the bottom of the shower. The soap dispensers are hard for older people to use. To hard to squeeze. The breakfast buffet was not as good as some of the other hotels we stayed at during this trip.

The hotel was new and very clean. The staff was very nice.

This facility is very close to the interstate (which also has its good aspects). You can hear the interstate from your room. It is not horribly loud but can be distracting when you are trying to go to sleep.

Breakfast was fine; great pancake maker. Only stayed one night on our way to destination. Friendly staff and warmer than the room decor.

The guest rooms may take a little getting used to. They are very austere, but I liked no carpeting.

We liked that we stayed at their facilities the first day they opened so everything was brand new and so very clean; staff was very pleasant and accommodating; they made fresh coffee for us! I highly recommend this hotel!

My reservation was canceled with no explanation. However, the receptionist booked me another room free of charge.

Very clean. Up to date. Friendly staff.

The pool was ice cold. We are from Ohio so I wanted an indoor pool for being March and we couldn’t use it. My kids lips and feet were turning blue.

The room, cleanliness, staff, and games for the kids were great.

The pillows were awful, the beds uncomfortable and it was hard to NOT get the bathroom floor wet when showering.
