Residence Inn by Marriott Spartanburg Westgate

Everyone was very caring and always had a smile and a hello. Seemed concerned how I was doing. I came to visit my grand children. The pretty black woman with the Great smile is awesome. Sorry I didn't get her name but I believe she worked evenings during the week and she was there when I checked out Sunday October 30 around 9:30am. She deserves to be acknowledged by her managers as her customer service was excellent. Thank you, Christina McDonnell. My stay was Oct 24 - Oct 30 2022

Bunch of stink bugs in the room Monday night

The smell of the property was so nice, you could tell it was clean and new. The desk was friendly and helpful.

Our room was on the interstate side. The windows sounded like they were open it was so loud from the road noise. I would have thought it would have been planned better in design phase of this construction. They provided earplugs which means they know it’s a problem then address the thin windows or the seams around the windows that let in so much noise.

The availability of a kitchen with a full size refrigerator and cooktop.

The room had dust in the corners, there were spider webs forming and you could see the dust gathering on the light sconce located in the same dusty corner. The bathroom floor was dirty with shoe prints and the mattress dust cover had spots. As you can see I’m a stickler for housekeeping cleanliness and I can tell if housekeeping pays particular attention to maintaining the clean appearance of a room.

Nice size room. Very surprised about dish washer. Quiet area. Friendly staff. Amazing front desk staff. Very welcoming. No issue to really report. Thank you. Especially for accommodating my Coko ( Morkie )

Room service would have been awesome. Maybe creamers in fridge in rooms to go with coffee. Called and none could be brought to me.

Great breakfast and we were in close proximity to restaurants and shopping. As well as venue for which was our reason for being in town.

I didn't realize I would be so close to interstate.

we liked everything. the only thing I would say is that the floors need to be a little cleaner. other than that everything was great

Facilities were spacious, clean, and comfy. Breakfast offered something for everyone. Staff was able to point us to a few local restaurants that delivered on great meals. We left an item behind and received an email and were able to pick it up on our way back through.

We love everything about this place. We stay here every time we are in town. The staff are always nice and friendly and do everything they can to help you and make sure you’re comfortable staying here. If you need anything they make sure you get it and make sure it’s done in a timely manner. Also the clean up crew make sure you’re taking care of and if you need anything from them they stop and get it then not later. This place is also in a great location and it’s always quiet here. We’ve stayed her quite a few times and we’ve never had any problems at all. No noise at all. So it’s definitely a great place to stay.

the bed was very uncomfortable. there was a lot of noise at night, bangs and thumps coming from the rooms above us and beside us.

it was very quiet and not in the middle of everything. kind of behind everything else and hidden. very nice room and love the layout. very secure.
