Spartanburg Marriott

It was a really nice hotel. I felt safe. Although the area seemed small, I felt as if the hotel was placed closed enough to restaurants and other need places such as Target. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was most gracious and offered to upgrade my queen room to a king once she saw I was alone. That was indeed the highlight of my trip.

I always find it convenient when there are things such as microwaves and mini fridges in the room. I had to pretty much eat my leftovers cold the next day. I also needed some toothpaste but it wasn't available in the market. Lastly the ice machine wasn't working. These are small things and while they wouldn't keep me from visiting again, I would have appreciated these things since I spent majority of my time in the room.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were super comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent.

There was a little maintenance and updating needed in the rooms and vending/ice areas. The food was really good, but drinks and food were pricey. We thought there was room service available, but it was not when we were there.

Room a 10; housekeeping a 10 but rationed; everything else a 10 except on-site food.

No room service (for $250.00)! Only onsite restaurant accompanies meal with hearing-damaging noise pretending to be music.

comfortable, clean, and great staff

The entrances are NOT marked well. If you put in the address provided by Bookings, it takes you to the banquet entrance. It is very dangerous and confusing to correct this mistake. please add more lights and way-finders to parking areas.

The location was good as there were several establishments within walking distance and others a short drive. Housekeeping cleans everyday. The bed was very comfortable.

I didn't like that there aren't any microwaves in rooms. I often have leftovers and was unable to warm them up.

Our room was meticulously cleaned. The water pressure in the bathroom was good. Temperature control in the room was good and the fan worked without being noisy. The hallways and common areas were clean, airy and very spacious. The elevators were quick, so separate groups could travel in separate cars easily and conveniently. Staff communicated clearly regarding housekeeping. The extra towels we requested arrived quickly. Breakfast was efficient, worked with our schedule and breakfast staff were friendly. Parking was super convenient and I appreciated not having to pay for parking separately. The ballrooms were well maintained and elegant. I felt safe and never crowded during the weekend stay.

I really don't have any negatives for you. We travel a lot for dance competitions and often hotels have a problem, such as noise or temperature issues, that make it hard for my daughter to dance her best. Happy to report she had zero issues with your hotel. We felt secure and safe - she slept soundly, had a decent breakfast at the early hour she needed it, and put in a winning performance.

Very clean facility, room and hotel. King size room, large area with couch and desk area. Bathroom was roomy, excellent shower and setup. Parking was underground with enclosed elevators to the lobby and rooms. Staff was super friendly and attentive

Maybe if elevator went from parking to room floor, using room key for security

Proximity to Amtrak station (5-minute walk) and to downtown (10-minute walk). Spaciousness of the room and the grandeur of the building.

Breakfast would be nice to be included at the room rates.

The hotel was nice and comfy. The breakfast was okay. The breakfast picture on the website is somewhat different from the breakfast that was provided. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast was really great. Enjoyed all the food . Service was good.

I think the channels on the tv were a little disappointing. Would like to have better selections. I thought I was suppose to have a microwave and frig in room . Maybe I misunderstood.
