Embassy Suites Nashville - at Vanderbilt

The stay was even better than expected. After reading some reviews we were a little skeptical but it was a wonderful stay! The staff is incredible. Jeff makes great cocktails during happy hour and the snacks were great. The breakfast food was just okay but they do have a lot of different options for being free! We had some issues with our room keys but they were more than happy to help as well as provide us with new towels and trash bags. The shuttle was perfect for our group of 11. Kendrick is AWESOME!! He should get a raise.... the rooms were spacious and have lots of mirrors and lighting. The restraunts near by are all very good. We will definitely be going back if we stay in Nashville again.

Overall, we had an awesome stay. The shuttle was out of air and the lobby was very warm but other than that we had no issues!

The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although we did not use the shuttle service, we did see the shuttle picking up/dropping off at the hotel frequently during our visit. This location is also walking distance from the famous Hattie B's. Water was always available in the lobby.

The fridge holding beverages to purchase in the lobby was broken, and we couldn't find any vending machines. Other than a couple of bars / Hattie B's nearby, there was no where close to walk to and buy water (although this does seem to be more of a Nashville problem than a problem with this hotel specifically).

The room was clean and laid out nicely. The breakfast was good and much variety. The happy hour was good. Location was nice and easy. There was only 1 small shuttle but the drivers were extremely nice and helpful. Most staff was helpful .

The only downside was the shower spilled out onto the floor every time even with doors completely closed. That would be my only complaint and would suggest correcting it.

The property was so well located and staff was great. The shuttle bus service was very available and convenient when it was raining but we also didn’t mind walking the other times. Room was comfortable too.

Very gray and bland, seemed more for work conferences, wasn’t very lively or happy, for the price we paid I would have hoped for a more aesthetic or pleasing place but we were out in the town 99% of the time anyways so wasn’t a big deal.

Breakfast staff was super nice, and omelettes were cooked very quickly. The location is terrific -- fairly quiet, easy walk to Vanderbilit and right across the street from Hattie B's chicken. We could look out the window to see how long the line was.

They were unclear about the price of parking, so that was a check-out surprise. Also, room had a bit of an insecticide smell when we first arrived, but I suppose that is better than having the bugs.

A great spot to see all of Nashville! Being away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough you could walk to Broadway (a decent walk, about 20 min away). Really enjoyed the happy hour with free snacks and drinks! Also the breakfast was better than a typical hotel breakfast with a fresh omelet station.

We had an excellent stay here - the room was large and the entire hotel was extremely clean. We all absolutely loved the breakfast each morning! Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient shuttle. Will highly recommend to others.

Two couples in our party had issues with the total bill for their stay being different than what was quoted at booking. The staff was helpful and reworked so final bills matched initial quote. I would tell people to double check their totals at check-in and check-out.

The included breakfast was leaps and bounds above expectations. And they have a shuttle that takes you to where the action is and even picks you up afterwards.

My shower for whatever reason didn't have cold water... It was 92 degrees everyday and I wanted cold showers to counter act that but couldn't. My wife on the other hand loved the temperature of the showers lol

Everything was great. The breakfast is wonderful. Made to order omelets! A mile from downtown, but easy UBER or you can use their shuttle.

I wish they had explained the shuttle service a little better. We were under the impression that they only dropped off at 7th & Broadway. They will actually drop off anywhere within a 2-mile radius during the day. Wish we would have known that.

The king room was spacious, clean and quiet. Great full breakfast each morning, and a complimentary happy hour in the evening! Best of all, a shuttle service into downtown stopping at 7th and Broadway. Tony, one of the drivers, is the best!! walkable to a few great bars - The Row, Winners and Losers, Dogwood, Chuys

a but farther from downtown than I’d expected but the shuttle cured that.
