Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Vanderbilt-Elliston Place

The room was great and the hotel location is very good for sightseeing in downtown Nashville. I also loved being able to use the "Digital Key" as part of my Hilton Honors benefits. It was nice to go straight to our room and not having to stop at the front desk

I did not like having to pay $25 for parking our car! We stayed a few months ago at Hampton Inn Green Hills in Nashville and there was free parking. I also think there should be water available on the breakfast bar and there were no English Breakfast tea bags available for those who do not drink Coffee. There were three other types of tea but no breakfast tea.

The room was perfectly fine, and we picked it based on proximity to Vanderbilt admissions. The included breakfast is a nice touch and I would consider staying there again should we need to revisit the school.

There was a lot of outside noise first thing in the morning. We wanted to sleep past 8:00 AM but there was so much racket I'd say it was pretty well impossible to do so. And why housekeeping was knocking at our door about the same hour, I can't explain. We knew from reading reviews that parking costs more, but it would be nice if they were more up front about that.

Location close to Vanderbilt University and Centennial Park is great. There are also several nice restaurants in walking distance of the hotel.

The hot/cold water handles for the sink in the room were arranged really weird. To shut off the water you had to turn them towards the wall and then they slammed into the wall, making it difficult to properly shut off the water. Have never seen an awkward arrangement like that before.

The property is just around the corner from Centennial Hospital. It is also within walking distance to several nice places to eat. The suite we had was spotless and very quiet, but could have used some updating. This is just the place if you have had a long tiring day.

I wish the person at the desk had informed me there was a hospital rate at the hotel. It would have saved us a considerable amount of money for the 2 night stay. We were there because we had a granddaughter in ICU.

not a first timer at this property. a great answer to the price/value posit. easy to move about around Nashville from this venue without catching the busiest streets. Nearby food including but not limited to Elliston Place Soda Shop, Martins Barbecue, P.F.Changs, makes for additional ease of movement. Pleasant staff; from maintenance, cleaning, breakfast, front office; and we spoke to all of them.

I appreciated the variety of offerings at the breakfast bar. Plenty to choose from. Not a gourmet breakfast, but I wasn’t expecting one either! No complaints.

I may have overlooked the $25 parking charge on the Booking.com site. Not sure. But it miffed me a bit upon check-in that I was being charged this additional fee.

Breakfast was good but crowded to navigate around. Location was great for visiting daughter at Vanderbilt. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance.

One elevator broken so sometimes took a while to get an elevator from 5th floor. Noisy garbage truck at 2-3AM

It was a great location literally one block away from where needed to be and was going, was very happy. My hotel was short staffed but were very communicative and very cooperative in answering questions also showing patience, with I’m sure, our seemingly never ending questions and gave great service and provided a wonderful room.

Wasn’t anything to dislike the hotel itself was amazing and the hotel staff was exceptional. I have no dissatisfaction.

Location was great for Vanderbilt and Nashville downtown. Walking distance to both Vanderbilt Stadium, Centennial park and less that 2 miles to Broadway.

No Water at the Breakfast buffet next to juices. Other Hampton Inns had more selections at their breakfast.

It was a great stay!! It was a great location.. the employees were awesome.. the continental breakfast was great!!.. everything was wonderful except for the fire alarm going off at 12:45 in the morning...

The fire alarm went off at 12:45am and woke me up..It continued to go off for about 5 minutes.. not sure if there was a problem with the panel or one of the tenants pulled the alarm but it was very annoying!
