Hutton Hotel

Lobby, staff, live music in lobby, music venue, bed, location (once we figured out what was around us) food in restaurant, smell of lobby was fantastic, free water!. And to be clear things like over charges, issues with staff, restaurant not open (all from other reviews) did not exist, all of that was pretty great.

I provide this with the understanding that we'd definitely go back to the Hutton but near perfection can be had - toilet issues, would not flush twice (but fixed promptly), had suite, AC in bed room was wanting,, valves for shower and sinks were tricky to find the right temp, restaurant was great but it and bar not open late enough, no mart to buy snacks, drinks

The room was good, it could have been a little larger with 2 queen beds in it but it was still good. We really enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby everyday and the service was excellent. We also liked the location.

I did not like the fact that the Valet parking costs so much at the Hutton per day. We Valet parked our vehicle when we got there and never got it again until we left. I think you should charge a one time fee and then charge the ones that get their vehicle per day and not so much the people that never get theirs out until time to go home. I think the charge should be based on how much you use the service and not per day. The price was the most we have ever paid for Valet parking and we travel a lot to a lot of nice places and stay in very very nice 4 and 5 star hotels. But your price was way over the top.

Hotel was fine, staff was friendly and professional. Booking messed up my reservations. I had originally only booked one night. Then I tried to add an additional night and ended up getting charged for 3 nights and only stayed at the property 1 night. I will never use booking.com again.

I tried to add Monday night the 6th to my already reservation for the 7th. Booking told me to contact the hotel. I did and they said since I went thru booking i had to add the other night through them. Then Booking sent me an email on the 4th saying my request had been denied. So, I booked a room on the 6th with a different hotel. When I arrived at Hutton on the 7th, they said I was a no-show on the 6th so, I had to pay Hutton directly again for my room and Booking charged me for two nights at the Hutton, and Hutton charged me for 1 night. So, all together, I stayed 2 nights in Nashville and paid for 4 horriable And, of course you can't find anyone with Booking to talk to .......

It was located right in the middle of all the activities we wanted to do, from downtown Broadway, The Parthenon, to 12 South and more. Also, you can tell thought is being put into the property. It’s super eclectic, the bar right outside the elevator is fantastic, and the daily presence of a musician was a neat experience. The Analog on the second floor was really unique; it was a differentiator for sure.

The AC unit in our room kept going on and off throughout the night, which in my opinion means the temperature was controlled or maintained very well. It wasn’t uncomfortable when in a deep sleep, but if you’re a light sleeper like myself, it’ll keep you up. Also, the restaurant not being open was a bummer. We heard it’s been over a year, since it started getting worked on.

Loved this place!! Did not want to stay in just another hotel but wanted something different. The Hutton was perfect. Small enough that it was intimate and felt cozy and special. The lobby is just fabulous! We loved sitting down there listening to live acoustic music enjoying a beverage. The entire staff was so friendly and professional. I will definitely be back and telling everyone about them. It is not a place I'd take with small children not bc they aren't kid friendly but bc kids want pools and activities and this is not that type of hotel.

Property had a great vibe. Walking distance to Vandy and restaurants. Rooms were comfortable.

Only minor criticisms. The bedding wasn’t the greatest (bed super comfy though). not enough outlets by the nightstand.

The ambiance and decor of the property was top notch! Definitely gives you the true 'Nashville' vibes instantly which is exactly what we wanted! Also loved that there was live music in the lobby and we were given a complimentary drink voucher too! Room was spacious and I loved how large the bathroom was

Our room phone did not work so I had to go down to the lobby to ask for a few things and I wish they validated parking in the connected garage to the hotel because it is very expensive even for one night

Comforter and pillows are very comfortable here. The bed was a little bit firm. Electronic shower was new to us and interesting But we learned not Being able to use the controls in the shower was not optimal. Room was great. Had a great view.Good blackout curtains. Really cool artwork.

I do not care for furniture being a cloth like fabric. There were stains on the couch. Not many options for watching TV. When someone is used to watching Netflix At home regular cable seems like a huge waste of time.

parking-we parked and didn’t realize (just didn’t read or understand the sign on my part) that it’s not just pay for your 24 hours of parking. it’s if you take your car out at all during your stay they have different charges. we parked to check in and unpack and left after 1 hour and 30 mins which was $12. it was $42 for the 24 hours. but if you take the car before your 8-24 hours then they charge different and start it over. very frustrating but all parking in Nashville is expensive and a little ridiculous.

The hotel design is absolutely gorgeous. We got a free upgrade and our room was simply fantastic. We didn't really use the living room but it was nice to have that option. We were also offered to complimentary adult beverages upon arrival. It felt very hip as there were local musicians playing, a lively lobby and art deco is just a gorgeous style to look at. We took our time wandering around and just taking in all the beauty of the hotel. Room service was delicious and delivered on time. Bed was super comfy and the shower was out of this world with luxurious bath products to boot. The location is wonderful, three is plenty within walking distance, however unless you do just really enjoy walking you can't really get down to Broadway without an Uber. Don't pass up the Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant across the street....it was amazing.

We did have a sink that leaked however it didn't even phase us. Also the refrigerator was a little bit small and we would have liked having a microwave in the room. Also the couch and and ottomon are past their prime. We also really wished there was a smart TV.
