Super 8 by Wyndham Pigeon Forge-Emert St

The fact that I was charged for a night that I did not stay, but a damper on the rest of my time there.

I made my reservations from home online on May 22, 2022, for 2 nights...May 23 and 24th, but was charged an additional night as a "no show" for the 22nd. Booking.com called to help me get refunded for the additional night, but your business would not remove the charge from my credit card. And because of that, I will never stay at this particular facility again.

The room was clean and updated. The breakfast was awesome. Had waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, toast, muffins, fruit cups, yogart, cereal, apple juice, orange juice, strawberry kiwi juice, coffee.

Bed where a little too hard for me other than that room was great.

Breakfast was perfect. Not too much, not too little. The housekeeping ladies were very helpful with extra towels. Always asking if I need anything when I saw them. The front desk was very nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. My room was exceptionally clean with a great view. I do the bed bug check as soon as I walk in the door before I unpack anything. These rooms passed with flying colors. No dust, the corners didn't have spider webs. I even saw a woman inspect the rooms after the cleaning ladies were done each day. We were there for the 4th of July, there were fireworks directly behind the hotel, and across the road at Dollywood. Everything together made for a perfect stay for myself and my two teenage boys!

Limited parking

The property and rooms were clean. I felt safe in the evening taking my service dog for his nightly business. The staff that I met were friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly! The breakfast was hot and plentiful. I would definitely stay again.

The parking lot was small and it is a nightmare to get into the place. Your GPS will lead you to it, but there is a chain across the entrance. You actually have to turn into the road by IHOP and pull thru the hotel beside it to get to the hotel. Each night we stayed, I probably told a dozen drivers how to turn around at the chained drive and actually get into it.

The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were nice and clean. The property was well lit at night. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day. The breakfast was good but had the same breakfast meat every day. Maybe mix up the meat. My wife, who's a big coffee drinker really enjoyed the 24-hr. coffee. The other thing we liked was we were able to take our dog with us. I can't believe more motels don't allow pets on their facilities. The shower and air conditioner worked very well. We will visit this motel in the again in the future.

I noticed that a lot of people were taking their desk chairs outside and setting. Maybe add some chairs or benches at the rooms. Overall, very fine place to stay.

Clean Rooms, Good breakfast.

The Hotel is "Landlocked". In other words it is not actually on Emert St. and is located behind other properties off the Parkway (US441). You have to cross other properties to get to the hotel. From Emert St, you have to go through the La Quinta Inn property and from the Parkway you have to go behind a particular restaurant (Unfortunately I did not get it's name). If you turn into the wrong restaurant (Wendy's, Arby's or Marble Slab Creamery), you will find yourself trapped in their parking lots or on the wrong side of a fence just yards from the Super 8. Making matters worse, there is no sign for the hotel on the parkway (US441) and your GPS navigation may have trouble.

Nice spacious room, they aloud our furry kids (dogs) to stay with a fee of $15 per dog per night. This was a very good price. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Was hard to find the road to turn in to. My Ram1500 nav had it wrong, Waze had it wrong. Our third GPS try got us there using Google maps. The A/C was bad at first, and I had to find just the right spot on the thermostat to get it nice in the room. But once you did, it cooled the room nice. Made me put a $100 security deposit down since I booked using booking.com

Room was clean and quiet. Bed comfortable.

I requested a first floor room due to having a dog, 2 months prior to the stay, but was told they had none available when I checked in. The hotel was not full. Breakfast offerings were limited. If we left early in the morning, cleaning staff would take the front row parking spots. There was only 1-2 handicap spots, I walk with a cane. If we went out and came back the staff would take the front row spots. Granite shower walls, but no shelves for soap or shampoo, no grab bars inside the shower either.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I left my swimsuit in the hotel room when we checked out to go back home. The front desk staff called me right away to let me know I had left something! I was able to turn around and go back to get it! That has never happened before, I have left an item at other hotels and I either had to call them to see if it had been found or they called me days later and I had to pay to have the item shipped to me! I was so thankful that your staff did this!

The room we got is very spacious and exceptionally clean! This location definitely didn't cheap on service, the beddings are all fresh and we could smell a tiny bit of the detergent that was used on it unlike some others economy hotels that give you stuff that just looked clean but have been used by previous customers without washing. My wife has top standards on cleanliness since the pandemic, and she would wipe all the surfaces we or our belongings might touch with disinfectant wipes. To her surprise, there was barely any dust. We would definitely book again if we came back to this area.
