Mountain Aire Inn Sevierville - Pigeon Forge

SUPER clean room. Dated look, but in a good way. Had a vintage feel about it. I have stayed at rooms in the area for 30.00 all the way up to 300 per night and have never seen a cleaner place. This is our new “usual” hotel!!

I would have liked more pillows. Each queen bed had two standard pillows. I’m sure I could have got extra from the front desk, but it was late and I didn’t want to bother the lady. So if you like a lot of pillows, pack a few extra.

We’ve stayed here every year for about the past 10 years & never have many complaints. All together as a family we had 3 different rooms this trip. The staff are always warm & welcoming making everything as easy as possible. The pool is open until 10:30pm, which is a plus for me. The rooms always smell clean. Beds are always clean & made perfectly. Rooms are never dirty to the eye. Rates are amazing. Location is perfect in my opinion because you’re not in the middle of all of the heavy traffic.

So, like I said I rarely have any complaints & this is the first time that I have a couple about this specific location. The floors were clean to the eye but walking in the room without shoes, my feet got filthy. I mean like I had walked around barefoot outside. Another thing, there were a ridiculous amount of gnats in our room specifically. We probably killed between 40-50. That’s not even exaggerating. Like I said prior that’s not been an issue before, just this recent stay. Other than that everything was amazing.

The location was convenient and the room itself was immaculately clean. I watched housekeeping one morning and they definitely do the job you would expect from any place you're paying to stay at. Everything was sanitized and ALL bedding was changed out. As well as the windows washed and the floors were mopped a few times. There was a coffee maker in our room even tho we had read in reviews that some guests didn't have one. I asked the lady (super nice btw) during checkout about it and she said if we got into our room and there wasn't one to let her know and she would bring one over. They had recently removed old ones and was in the process of replacing them all. Our room had a new one so I was content for sure. Would most definitely stay here again.

The flower garden, fountain, and bench/swing area that used to be there is run down and in bad need of some TLC. While the rooms were wonderful and without complaints most definitely , the same can not be said for the area designated as a garden. It was one of the things I was looking forward to only to be extremely disappointed by. Hopefully they will focus more on that area of the property because it's definitely a selling point that's not being utilized in the way that it could be.

We have been coming down to PF for over 2 decades. When we lost our home in the fires, our trips became business trips instead of pleasure with trying to figure out the next steps, now with no place to stay. We always drove past this place and loved the sign. That clever sign is what drew us in, "older than some, cleaner than most". This was true! Although, the hotel wasn't one of the newer fancy establishments, it was clean! That is the first thing we look for. The rooms were a nice size, there was even soap/shampoo on the wall in the shower like the fancy places! :) All we were looking for was a clean, comfortable place to sleep. This place was clean, comfortable, easy to get to and a great price! The only issue we had was that our coffee maker in our room didn't work. When I told the lady at check out she quickly made a note of it and I feel she was going to replace it as soon as we left! We will stay here again!

We loved the location and the hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We pretty muched liked everything. Except it's none smoking on the premises and my husband is a smoker and didn't like the idea of having to drive off the premises to smoke.

The young lady at the front desk didn't speak to us while checking us in.she was talking on her phone and she would just point at the papers we had to fill out.She gave us our key and didn't say have a goodnight or ask us if we had any question.When we went to check out she just said what room number and that was it..she was just rude..And the no smoking on premises.i get no smoking in the rooms which is fine but to have to go completely off premises is just wrong.

clean and central to a lot of places

was in Cades Cove with no phone service and received a message that we were supposed to be checked out at 11 & our belongings were still there ( I had paid for an extra day). we were scared to death about our stuff and tried to rush back(took forever). ruined our whole day. a wasted day that we couldn’t do over, didn’t get to visit the Smokey mountain park or Cades cove because it’s a long drive too and from the hotel. when we finally got phone service we couldn’t turn around and do again because traffic was so heavy and we didn’t have more time to waste. should have called us and left another message but didn’t and it took us 3 hours to get back to the motel. plenty of time to fix their error!

Good location, room was clean and comfy. Staff was very polite. Grounds were clean. Pool was great. Would definitely stay again. Very comfortable and reasonably priced.

Had trouble with wifi. Husband is a smoker and could not smoke outside of room like he usually does in other hotels. There is a nice designated area. Small nuisance but did not affect our good time.

The price and location are wonderful. It met my expectations and was a comfortable stay for my family. I would certainly stay again.

The air conditioner/heater had a horrible smell so we just kept it off. But anytime you went near it (next to sink) you could smell it. A mix between cigarettes/mildew. The bathroom is tiny, with lights so bright, they burn you. There's another light switch right outside bathroom that provides enough light without the heat. Didn't see it until we were leaving though, lol. It is older so it also doesn't have the numerous USB hookups near nightstand. There was only one outlet at the nightstand so that meant we had to unplug the lamp and clock during our stay to charge our phones nearby

Beds were hard. But everything else made up for it

Location is good for the activities we had planned. The property is quite (especially in the back) and safe. To be an older motel, the property is decently maintained and the rooms are clean.

The decor is a bit outdated, which is to be expected at this rate. The rooms are usually very clean, but this one had several stains on the carpet; however I did request a different room upon check-in due to a desired location. I can only assume the room originally assigned wouldn’t have had this issue.
