La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Arlington South

We traveled to Arlington for my Mom's memorial service so being comfortable was a high priority. In the past we have always looked for the cheapest and we always got what we paid for. La Quinta did not disappoint. Staff was excellent, the grounds outside and the lobby/reception area were clean and well appointed. Our room was exactly what we asked for; location, accessibility, cleanliness.

The accessible shower was very nice to have. The only issue was that it was difficult to get working properly and seemed to be in need of a bit of repair. And while hot water was not in short supply, it was actually difficult to get the water cold enough to not feel scalded!

nothing wrong with the property just had some noise complaints when I wasn’t even making much noise a lady came knocking really loud and told me in a disrespectful way to be quiet. staff was very nice and understanding and heard I was not making noise so I appreciate that very much ! (:

This was the best hotel out of the 5 different hotel (all were different brands) we stayed at during our journey from NC to the far end of Texas. The staff were exceptional. Breakfast was a grab and go due to Covid restrictions, but there was an I-Hop within walking distance (as were several restaurants), so no real issue for the family member that wanted a hot breakfast.

The only thing I could think of that could have made things better is if the rear entrance had an accessible curb. The front entrance held no barriers, so just don't use the back if accessibility is an issue.

All the staff were extremely helpful with any questions or request . THe room keys worked everytime we used them for both rooms for both days . Chenk-in and check-out were seemlees and pleasant.Wonderful stay over all and good coffee!

The coffe pots in the rooms leaked and were not very functional but there was great coffee in the lobby so it really wasn't an issue for us .

I liked the location and convenience. The breakfast just made it a plus. I will definitely use this place again if I need to get away from home.

They advertised a pool and when I went to go to the pool It was locked. It sucked because it was over 90 outside and I just wanted to layout by the pool and relax.

This is by far the best LaQuinta, I've ever stayed. Large room, plenty of space to move around. Nice shower and bathroom.

My room was located in the back of the Hotel. The elevator was broken down. Very inconvenient from where my room was located. I had to make several trips up and down the stairway to pack my car.

The a/c worked really well and really fast! Bed was comfy, everything was really clean. And it's pet friendly!

The breakfast was pretty lame! Just frozen waffles and bagels, a couple cereals, not much. Granted I made it down in the last hour, but I've been to other hotels with better breakfasts

The hotel was very clean, and smelled nice. Conveniently located

The young lady helping me wasn't the best but I assume she is new because the young man kept trying to help her but she was more interested in chatting with him than checking me in

Safe location for out of towners.

Better variety of the breakfast buffet. And there was no napkins, spoons or forks. The shower needs better drainage, the water was coming out into the the rest of the bathroom. Had to ask for more floor mats.

Room was close to the back entrance and parking. Both of us use canes or walkers.

Carpet in the room had stains not enough bathroom linens, they weren't replaced the 2nd day. Had to go to the desk for soap. Not only not high end, not average. Very disappointing.
