La Quinta by Wyndham Belton - Temple South

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We called ahead to make sure there would be a pack and play available and they said they would take it up to the room before we got there. After check in we got up to our room and not only was the pack and play there, it was already set up. Also, we didn't think the A/C was cooling very fast in our room so we asked if someone could take a look at it and within minutes it was working and cooling like it should.

The beds weren't the comfiest ever but not bad.

Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect for attendance to the Mother Earth News Fair at the Belton Expo.

Our room was located directly across the hall from the elevator. Other guests weren't aware or concerned that talking loudly in the hallway, or yelling to their companions while waiting for the elevator was disturbing us. Our room had a desk chair but only a straight back chair in the corner. It seems like there should have been a recliner or comfortable club chair and a lamp in that corner. Also, a desk lamp would have been helpful for working.

The hotel was very clean as well as the room.

We only stayed 1 night and hours before check out time house keeping was banging on all the doors in my floor to go in and clean. we had a very long night visiting with our daughter who is in college and wanted to sleep in but couldn’t due to house keeping starting at 830 knocking very loud in doors. we had the do not disturb sigh on door but they still knocked loudly.

Third floor option, pool (on the days it was actually open), friendliness of all staff, comfort of the beds, breakfast

Smell of the room, small coffee cups, no plain filtered water…only lemon/lime infused, pool was closed for a few days, happy hour was a nice perk, but choices were too limited (ran out of white wine on our first night, and didn’t replenish it)

The really nice staff at check In & the room was awesome love the hot tub & gym... over all 5 out of 5... looking forward to maybe doing a yearly thing there & booth the conference room one night to do a toy swap meet in the room I'll clean it afterwards & pay for the room. I was with Bell County Comic Con as a Excibitor this year.

Everything was amazing

Breakfast was delightful; suite was comfy and clean. Our lovely housekeeping lady was sweet and accommodating to our needs. I tipped her extra for her service and making sure she was able to spend time with her family at Christmas.

The staff was great. He walked us to our room cause it had been recently painted, so he wanted to make sure we would be ok with the smell. My other son and daughter came to drop something off to me and stayed for almost 2 hours cause of a storm. The clerk didn't say anything to us about it.

The only compliant I have is with the mattress and the sheets/ comforter. There was a flannel like sheet in June and the comforter was a cheap satin material. Outside of this the stay was perfect!

Friendly staff with clean rooms. Pleasant smell throughout the facility. Housekeeping was exceptional. Worth the 243 I paid for 2 nights. Breakfast was ok. I booked and so did my sister. They were able to accommodate us with rooms next to each other.
