Best Western Corpus Christi

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for years! The hotel staff, from front desk to the breakfast staff, always make us feel at home and provide us a wonderful experience. I will be staying at this hotel for years to come.

What bothered us on our second day there was that the hotel reeked of marijuana. THe housekeeping staff was going around spraying deodorizer yet could not locate the location from where it was coming. Additionally, the walk in shower could have had more attention given to it during cleaning, yet besides that, the accommodations were so comfortable that we slept like babies.

It was so awesome to wake up to see the beach every morning. It seemed to be in the middle of everything we wanted to do, so location was excellent. It was close to the beach and restaurants.

The breakfast could have been a little better, it was just ok. By the time you got your food and got a cup of coffee your food was cold. If you got the coffee first, then it was cold. We went to the bar the last night there; the drink was not good and was pricey.

location was perfect, the views from the room were the best hotel views we have ever had. Was across the street from marina and it was a great place to go for evening and morning walks. upstairs was breakfast with a 360 view of the gulf. There was also a lounge upstairs that was great for an evening glass of wine with beautiful views. Staff was so friendly and had great suggestions for what to do in the area. Housekeeping kept us well stocked and room clean.

The staff was quick to respond and attentive to customer service. After we unpacked all of our luggage we were leaving to go out and eat. We noticed the room door did not lock properly as we were leaving. The receptionist immediately moved us to a new room and assisted us with moving our belongings. We received a text from the hotel each day asking us how our stay at their hotel was going. I responded on one occassion that our air conditioner did not get very cold. Within seconds they responded and sent up an repairman. That night we felt like we were sleeping in the artic (this is meant in a gooooood way as we love it cold!). The breakfast is the best we have ever had at a hotel and we have probably stayed in over 500 different accommodations. The food servers were professionals. The overlook on the 11th floor is out of this world! Nice to visit the 11th floor at night to have an overview of Corpus Christi. Value for the dollar is great. Location is outstanding.....you can walk to some outstanding restaurants from this location. If we return to Corpus Christi we will be returning. We will also tell our friends this is a great place to stay.

The hotel is massive (10 floors with at least 20 rooms per floor). However, there were only three luggage carts for this hotel (1 cart for every 3 floors or one for every 60 rooms). When we arrived all three were taken/hidden when we arrived. We had to carry all of our luggage to the room. The hotel is massive and there are three elevators. However, during our stay, one of the elevators was out of service. To add to this complaint, the elevators were verrrrryyyyyy slooooooow. You would expect carts and elevator repair to be a top priority with the rate you pay for this hotel.

Location good. Breakfast with variety to choose from. The hotel had a lounge on top floor that was a nice touch.

Unfortunately (no fault of hotel), a group of teenagers were staying at hotel & many were on our floor. Apparently, chaperones did not manage the rowdy teenagers — as from 9-11 pm, kids running in halls & slamming doors. Once complained to front desk , security resolved. The next morning, front desk moved us to another room. We were happy how hotel management responded.

Centrally located in downtown Corpus Christi. We were able to walk to our wedding, less than 5 minute walk. Hotel is by the water, however there is no beach access, so make of it what you will.

The pool was out of service, they offered us to cancel free of charge, however I didn't because I would have no where else to stay and no time to look for a substitute hotel. Also the Blimpie and coffee shop in the hotel were not open for customers. We were not offered a discount or anything for these inconveniences but like I stated, I didn't have the time to look for an alternate hotel, so just kept the reservation.

Good value. Comfy rooms. A little outdated but not enough to be an issue. Great water pressure (caution: water is extremely hot) Good breakfast, especially the beans and chorizo. I also liked that the breads and other items were individually wrapped.

The elevators were so slow and would skip floors sometimes. I think one may have gotten stuck at some point but I could be wrong. Several guests opted to take the stairs whenever we could since it was faster. I did not realize the balcony doors were sealed shut. Maybe there were issues in the past. I would've loved to sit out on it in the evening.

The staff at the front desk was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious with a ton of stuff to choose from. Josie, the lady that ran the breakfast, was so kind and everything was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and you couldn't hear any neighbors from above or on either side of us. Its a very well built hotel. Plenty of pillows on the beds and we all slept very comfortably. Our room didnt have a remote for the tv but after calling the front desk they quickly sent up a nice gentleman from maintenance that brought a new remote and programmed it to ourTV. The pool was nice, the lounges were comfortable. We were looking forward to enjoying a cocktail at the bar on the 11th floor but children aren't allowed in there (understandably) so the next time we stay at this hotel (which we are already planning our next trip) we will definitely check it out. Excellent hotel, wonderful staff, and the prices were reasonable. We absolutely recommend staying here.

One of the elevators wasn't working and the one that was working was very small. The time it took to get on the elevator was pretty lengthly. We ended up using the stairs quite a bit, but being on the 9th floor with 2 kids made it pretty inconvenient. Hopefully when we come back to stay again in a couple months they have the elevator issue resolved.

The room was clean and big, location was just amazing everything either walking distance or a short drive and great staff. Will definitely be staying again

There was a man that rushed us out during breakfast started vacuuming and turning off the lights while guests were still eating. I get your on a time limit but he could have just came over and politely explained that and not deliberately make it feel like we were getting rushed out.

Everyone was so friendly and very welcoming.

The toilet were loud when you would flush them in the room we had stayed in. Other than that, everything else was great! Our family had a relaxing and enjoyable 4th of july stay with an awesome spot to watch the fireworks. The pool was relaxing cause there weren't so many people in it. The breakfast was good as well. We will be back again!
