The staff was friendly and helpful. And our room was clean.
The only thing we didn't like was no fault of the hotel or staff. Dalhart is probably the noisiest small town ever. The location of the hotel is right on the main intersection of town and next to railroad tracks. Between the nonstop truck traffic and trains rolling by the noise was pretty constant. Problem can be solved if you bring something to create ambient noise like a fan . If you have that this place is a great value for the money.

The room was clean and nice
I asked for a first floor room since my wife is disabled. When I set up online reservation they said that was fine. When we got to the hotel, they say they didn't have that information and charged us an extra fee for a first floor room. I did show them a copy of the online reservation.

Traveling with my dog, the hotel was very accommodating, with very friendly staff.
Almost needed a stool to climb into the bed! Once there it was very comfortable though.

The location was Great , very clean staff was helpful. They also had a full breakfast it was very Good.
The only thing was that the train tracks were behind the hotel so it was a bit noisy!
