The Chalet

the poeple were very freindly and helped with every thing we needed. comfortable room, comfortable bed. we stayed 5 days for an ironman competition - having a kitchen was comfortable and saved the need to go out for so many meals. the place was about 20 min walk from the heart of the competition and only few minuts walk from a good point on the bike course.

the motel is on a main road in st. george - very noisy, and also i hate the thought of breathing the polution for 5 days and nights... when the door and window were closed noise was cut down by much, but i need air and light. (window and door in the same wall, little air flow). the room was a little dark, we changed the light bulb in the lamp, and bought one more and than it was OK.

completely remodelled room, excellent job. met outside office by owner, checked in within 2 minutes. stayed 2 nights, wonderfully comfortable in all respects. cleaning of room was immaculate, just like new after with complete change of towels etc even if not used. this room was amazing for a motel - if a hotel room I would rate it 4 star without hesitation - I have been staying in hotels and motels regularly over the past 50 years, this one was streets ahead of any motel I’ve ever experienced. marvellous

absolutely nothing to criticise

I arrived early for check-in and, although, my room wasn't ready yet, the front desk staff called housekeeping and told them to clean my room next. When I came back to check in, a staff member asked if I'd like assistance carrying my luggage up the stairs. I declined, but it was nice of him room ask. The rooms at this hotel are spotless and they have been upgraded. The towels are the fluffiest I have ever used and the Tommy Bahama toiletries are a nice bonus. My room was very quiet even though I was above the laundry room and the ice machine.

I wish there was a pool. I had some down time and it would have been nice to relax by a pool since the weather was so nice.

I wasn’t going to be able to check in until after 9 because I was at softball games all day. I received a call at 6 asking when it was going to check in.. they told me front desk closed at 7 but sent me a text with detailed instructions on how to get my room key. It was very easy. Room was updated, spacious , clean, decorated really nice, had a small kitchen with microwave, fridge, table and chairs .. and my bed was great. Slept really well. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean! Great location (once you figure out how to get into parking lot) and you can park right in front of your room. Huge comfortable room, essentially your own studio apartment. Don't let the outside fool you, our room was excellent. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and don't need hotel facilities like a pool, restaurant, lounge, gym.... then this a perfect choice.

Not enough towels provided for 2 people. Not enough coffee or creamer provided. Breakfast not available (or if breakfast is provided, that wasn't communicated to us). The lack of supplies was easily remedied by us by just asking, staff was happy to provide.

- I loved the private parking, it wasn’t crowded with non chalet customers. i love the view from the second floor. - I’m a introvert and this was a easy quick check in. i don’t like answering questions and doing the usual paperwork for a check in but chalet was simple check in. i loved it. - it came with a big fridge! i stayed for 2 nights so I had some stuff to keep cool and it gave me plenty of room for everywhere. - the bed was memory foam and it was one of my favorite, felt amazing sleeping in it. - shower was very big, I’m a big girl myself and it was plenty of room to move around in! - out of the hotels I stayed in for more than 1 night never gave my room a housekeeping, this is the FIRST hotel to give my room a clean while I was out; fixed my bed, took out my trash, a clean hand towel, etc. THANK YOU! my sister and I appreciate the service and the quality of this place!

I booked a motel because it had good ratings from previous clients. The rate per night was very good so comparatively I booked three rooms for one night. I did not expect too much when I arrived however I was pleasantly surprised that the manager greeted us upon our pulling into the parking lot already had the keys and everything taken care of project and the place was extremely clean efficient and beautifully maintained and spacious. I would recommend this for anyone from a single traveler to business or families as there is a kitchenette full refrigerator microwave ice machine etc. This is a wonderful gem in the middle of Saint George

The Chalet is a clean, affordable option in St. George. Having a kitchen, especially once we were able to get a dish/kitchen kit from the front desk, was nice. The couch was comfortable, and there was plenty of parking. It's a good value and the contactless check-in/out system is great. They had better quality towels than most. It's a short drive to downtown and the freeways from The Chalet, so it was a great base for exploring the area.

This isn't the facility's fault, but there's only one window (by the door to the room), so we couldn't open windows to get airflow. The air conditioner is also in the front of the room, by the kitchen, while the bed is in the far back. So it can get stuffy in the back of the room.

I was really impressed with the quality of the things in the room. The towels, the sink, the soap and shampoo the fixtures. For being a motel, all of the details were quality.

There was only one coffee cup. Three queens and five people traveling. I thought one coffee cup was ill planned.

This hotel was so cute! The room was very spacious, very clean, well decorated with actual dressers and night stands in vintage style. And a bonus high top table and stools too. Larger fridge with freezer than most hotels as well. It was located in downtown St George within walking distance of dining and other services. Parking very close to room was great. And it was very affordable and less than most hotels in the area.

A bit of street noise at night, but not terrible. Had to drive around the block to get into the parking lot from one direction, but no big deal. This place was great!
