Quality Inn Saint George South Bluff

Good but standard hotel breakfast. Area was clean, well maintained/stocked and the young lady staffing this area was efficient and pleasant.

Had a problem with the key card/lock on the door (something about replacing the battery in the door mechanism). At first notice of complaint, was offered a different room but because we had already unloaded the car and the dog, and the problem was supposed to be taken care of in about 15-20 minutes, opted to stay in original room and therein was our mistake. Took over an hour for anything to be done about the door lock and that was to change to a room with a working key card. Being tired and hungry and wanting to get this over with, moving everything to a new room didn't seem so bad at that point. Wish we had done it at the first offer.

Great directions to Quality Inn! Check in was easy...room was in quiet location, clean, and comfortable bed...a bit concerned about the shower floor...is it cracking...felt unstable under my feet while showering. I appreciated that the manager was able to get the hot tub to work properly after I commented at desk! The breakfast was good! Check out was easy!

I appreciated that a hot tub/pool was at this lodging. However, I think that the pool/spa area needs a good cleaning (ie. wall of hot tub, chairs, trash around some chairs) and repair or removal of broken chairs, etc. The hot tub water temperature was ideal, but there were missing nozzles on the upper jets, which made water splatter more. Also, maybe put a sign above the timer for hot tub, so that guests don't push the emergency button to try to turn it on...that's why the top jets didn't work the first time I used...manager told me what happened.

The room and the property were pretty, comfortable, and clean. We loved the palm trees and shade all around the hotel. Breakfast was great! Sausage, eggs, bagels, toast, muffins, juice, hot chocolate and all the condiments. It was clean and well stocked. My kids loved the pool area! The gentleman checking us in asked if we wanted top or bottom. My kids wanted an upper room but I said no, that they would make to much noise. The gentleman said he could put us above a room with no one it. He made us all happy. The table was big enough for four of us to play card games and we were able to connect our laptop to the TV with the HDMI cable to watch a movie. Our smoke alarm went off three times and we think it was from the steam from the bathroom because my kids didn't use the fan - smoke alarms work! :)

Traveling late in the day and tired of driving so I booked room online. Service was quick and we were in our room within 15 minutes or less. Room was very clean and we got a good nights rest. Breakfast was plentiful and as expected and we were on our way home, rested and didn't have to take time to stop for breakfast or pay more money.

Had to call to get the tv to work. Cable was unplugged from previous occupant. They came within 5 minutes and plugged it back in.

The best breakfast bar compared to several other slightly higher priced hotels in the area that I've stayed at. The breakfast bar had more selection, with more choices of cereal, more choices of pastries such as having waffles, English muffins, mini muffins, danishes and toast. Plus instead of having just sausage everyday they also had bacon some days. Several flavors of yogurt

I liked the air conditioner controls. It worked just like I wanted. I've have been to other motels lately and it was always too cold and I couldn't correct it. This was a nice surprise. I also really liked the pool. The temperature was perfect.

I have no complaints

The room was exceptionally clean compared to other motels we've stayed at. The breakfast was great and the late night staff that checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

Wouldn't change anything at the top of my head... the room smelled a little dank on entering, but that is likely due to the air conditioning and lack of light in the room.

There were a lot of options at breakfast, which worked well for our family. We liked how quiet our room was and the amount of space that we had. The staff was very friendly, though most did not speak english.

The pool filter wasn't working, so the pool was a little cloudy during the first half of our stay. They were able to fix it towards the end of our stay, which was nice. Our room had a leaky faucet, which dripped across the counter and onto the floor.

Very clean and roomy and the beds were comfortable. There were also several nearby places to eat.

The only area to take our dog to go potty without crossing the street, which was very busy, was a good enough size BUT it was covered with stickers which not only got into his paws but onto my shoes. It could use some rehabbing!
