Days Inn by Wyndham Chincoteague Island

The hotel is now under new management. The improvements already made were quite noticeable--including a competent and very friendly and accommodating staff, a much cleaner facility, and grounds improvement. It has only been a short while since the change occurred, so the new staff hasn't had a great deal of time to make changes. But, if the improvements continue as seen so far, this hotel will soon be an even better value for the money. We will definitely return.

Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, great location and super close to the beach.

Comforters are paper thin, I had to bring an extra blanket. LOVED the pool, but there were bugs in it every time we decided to swim.

Super affordable compared to the other hotels. My gf and I were looking for something nice but wouldn’t break the bank. It had everything we needed and was a perfect place to stay. It was our first time at the island and we had a blast.

We liked the location, the pool and screened in pavilion with grills. Also walking distance to Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge, an ice cream and candy shop, Mexican food, and a sub shop. Very peaceful area.

The staff were great and friendly. They were very accommodating as well. They called ahead of time to make sure my wheelchair could fit in through the room doors, and they also removed some furniture to make the room more accessible for me.

As someone in a wheelchair, the ramp being on the opposite side as the parking was rather inconvenient.

Room was small but nice. Manager and husband were great and helpful. Close to the Nature Reserve which is why we were there.

The back of the hotel where we came in was not nice. Cigarette butts everywhere. Even in the bushes.It needs paint and no smoking that close to the building.The pool is closed in the winter so it needs a sitting area maybe where one can read?

The room was clean, staff was friendly and location was great.

Although close to the end of the breakfast, there was 2 sausage links, oatmeal packets, and 2 cold cereals…. Nothing else. I would have complained but my family wanted to try a local restaurant for lunch that was recommended

The location was nice and quiet and that is a bonus. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Since it was off season they did not have any breakfast, only coffee. It would have been helpful if that was on the website or at least posted at the front desk.

For the price, it was very clean, great location. Tammy was amazing! Friendly, helpful, super hard worker. What a great group of people working there! The pool was crystal clear, bedding was amazingly clean and fresh.

The property needs to be updated and repaired.

The best part of this property was the friendly staff! Immediately upon check-in, you could tell the hotel had a family friendly atmosphere, and the hotel manager was particularly kind to our rambunctious two year old! The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the property was well kept. We would definitely stay here again.

Just a minor issue, the toilet handle in our room kept sticking and unhooking, but that is a quick fix!
