Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Auburn Downtown, an IHG Hotel

+ Very friendly and helpful staff + Superb level of cleanliness in the whole hotel + Large room with a comfy bed and a great walk-in shower + Free parking + Good gym with new equipment + Good complimentary breakfast with several choices

- If you use GoogleMaps for navigating, it can be a bit problematic to catch the driveway to the hotel - depending on which direction you arrive from (here: coming from the outlets). - Life in plastic, it's not fantastic. The hotel, actually the hotel chain really needs to take steps to reduce the waste generated at breakfast and become more environmentally sustainable.

Breakfast was very good. A lot more than I expected an extra bonus. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good and the fruit was super sweet and fresh. I was glad the breakfast was hearty because we went to a concert and was not able to eat a lot because of the heat.

The 2nd floor lobby was pretty hot but the room was cool. Also, There was four of us and 3 of us are allergic to feather pillows. We called the front desk to see if they knew for sure they were feather because my cousin almost immediately broke out with a rash. But we figured out only the front pillow was feather not the 2nd pillow. But she had a allergy meds.

Amazing staff member Greg, he went above and beyond for us, if I had a Hotel I would have to try and hire him as the Manager for sure. I love that the room had a refrigerator and microwave. It was very spacious and comfortable.

Our frirends room had stains on the carpet which made me feel like i couldn't walk around without shoes.

When we checked in, we were notified that we were upgraded to a suite with no extra charge! The room was clean and nice and the beds were very comfortable. It was close to downtown and restaurants. The Continental breakfast area was a decent size with enough options to choose from. There is also a little market where you can buy microwaveable food, beverages, ice cream, candy, chips, protein bars, chargers, Tylenol, feminine hygiene etc. Just an all around nice hotel.

You couldn’t turn left out of the property due to a median so we always had to turn right and turn around to head towards the freeway and downtown. Also, the staff could have been friendlier. When we were buying our snacks at the front desk, he didn’t acknowledge us and finished up what he was doing, then when he was running us up he didn’t even say anything besides our total. During continental breakfast, staff would watch you, almost like they were monitoring how much food you were taking and would stand kind of close. Made it very uncomfortable and awkward.

We had been to this location before and thought we knew what to expect, but they had done a huge upgrade. Place was nice and clean, we enjoyed our room, it worked great for our needs. Loved adult happy hour. Nice little bonus. Breakfast was good in the morning, several choices, everyone was able to find something to eat.

The continental breakfast was fantastic. Service was great. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Close to the outlet mall. Beautiful fitness room.

Have to make a u-turn to get back into the facility from the outlets, so a bit hard to access. No hot tub. Mattress wasn’t the most comfortable.

Clean comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and afternoon Happy Hour. We enjoyed the pool, fitness room, and even got some laundry done.

The location made it necessary to make a u turn of coming from the south. Not a big deal, but google didn’t know.

laundry facility, shopping/food/ gas nearby, clean and homey, free hot breakfast to start your day off right, hot coffee & tea 24/7, in room fridge, toiletries included in shower. nice outdoor patio/ tables and charcoal grill.

could have been slightly more parking spaces; due to how hotel was built there is not a lot of parking spaces, if you have a vehicle with a trailer or a large RV you may have to park off property.

I like the warm breakfast, nice to have back & running, since being shutdown do to covid restrictions.

Check in time is 3pm, we arrived around 4, we had to wait in the lobby 15 minutes, while house cleaning, finished up our room. The sound of the trains going by & slamming together, while they connected train cars. Pretty noisy for majority of our stay.

Close to train station. Excellent train service into seattle cbd. Much faster and less stressful than driving.

One washing machine and dryer for the entire hotel. That thing was.running 24/7. Took me 6 hrs before i could get a vacant slot to get a load done.
