La Quinta by Wyndham Seattle Federal Way

Our staying was great at this hotel. Everything was perfect. I love the location, you will have everything you need in a walking distance. Clean hotel and room. Complimentary breakfast - boiled eggs, scramble eggs, baked potatoes, sausages, orange, original or strawberry waffles, chocolate croissants. Breakfast is every day the same. I love the design in the hotel. There is a laundry, make sure you have enough quarters for, there is no coins machine and it will be hard to exchange even at the front desk. I'm glad we were lucky and had a 2$ exchange at the front desk, but we had to wait for the exchange until 10 a.m. It would be perfect if there will be a exchange machine or a card payment for the laundry. This is not a complaint, just a suggestion. Next time we definitely will stay in the same hotel.

Make sure you have enough quarters with you if you are thinking of using the laundry room.

The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a nicely-designed bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was also good, with real scrambled eggs - the staff kept the area clean and restocked, despite how many people were there.

The front desk staff when we checked in was clearly sick, did not seem to know what she was doing on the computer system, and seemed to almost fall asleep several times when we were trying to talk to her to check in. We had to keep repeating our names for check-in. She also mixed us up with the previous guest halfway through the conversation. We also got a room call around 11:30pm from the front desk, who greeted us informally with "Hey girl!" They asked us if we had booked for 1 or 2 nights and if we had paid by card or cash, then said they had called the wrong room and hung up. This was a very unprofessional call.

The whole hotel was clean and updated, the room was large and was able to accommodate our large family, it was very close to all sorts of amenities and felt safe, there was an amazing playground across the street, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

Food was good but did not realize too far from Seattle because of traffic on HWY 5. Surroundings though had a lot to offer as far as dining and small shopping. Park across the street was a nice addition to stay.

Televisions hard to work. Business computer could not be used to print Airline baggage and gate passes. No one seem to know password and it seemed it had been down for a while. They had no type of pamphlets on what to do in Seattle nor did they offer any type of newspaper like some places do. Cleaning people only came every three days but that was ok with us.

I traveled with my family of 6. My brother and sister and their families all stayed at La Quinta also. We had a total of 5 rooms. We were very satisfied with everything your hotel had to offer. Location was amazing and easy to get around and so many options close by. Breakfasts were so convenient for my family. With a party of 16 it was great to wake up and go down stairs and not have to transport our group to find somewhere to feed all of us. I had a really big room and was quite surprised when we walked in and seen how big our room was. Having children is not always easy when staying in a hotel. Been above the hotel laundry/maintenance room made it stress less for us.

Loved the location. This is a hotel in a busy shopping district area. All the various stores are nearby. Walmart is 2 blocks up and walkable. Best Buy is a 10-minute walk, with lots of food and bars nearby. The location is just wonderful. Its location could not be any more perfect if you need to be doing stuff closer to Tacoma. Its about 20 minutes from the airport and closer to all the stuff in Tacoma. If you are looking to visit Seattle, this may not be it, but if you are looking to visit the Tacoma area, this is the place to stay at.

This is a very diverse neighborhood and the guests at the hotel were similarly diverse -- different races, a lot of blue-collar workers, a lot of white-collar, some families, some singles, etc., and it all gelled and felt like a good place. Not sure to what I'd ascribe that, but I liked that everyone, guests and employees alike, seemed happy to be there. Employees are helpful and the hotel is in great shape.

Clean & bright facility. Very polite, friendly & helpful staff. Close to family, food & conveniences. Easy access to freeway without being at the feeeway. Would stay there again.

Could hear guests in the hallway; either they were talking quite loudly, or walls are not very insulated. But noise was just once after arrival, & once in the morning when people were departing. Also our room was near housekeeping station so there we noises coming from there in the morning. Nothing bad here against the facility.

Such a difficult time. We were there for my Mother's funeral. Your staff were wonderful,rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, the food was great also. Thank you for a great experience during a difficult time.

I walked outside and there was a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk , your staff person took care of the situation, then on Sunday morning I was going out the side door and he went back in to get coffee and breakfast. It was the same person. This was on April 18th. Maybe a security guard would be something to think about.
