Cranberry Country Lodge

We did not expect the aquatic center. Our 11yo really enjoyed the water slides and basketball hoops! Breakfast was very good. The room was clean. It was near the highway and a Walmart, and had a gas station in the parking lot.

Breakfast was a little bit crazy the morning we were there. There were too many people for the number of tables. Also, Booking.com said that only the property could give me a detailed receipt, but when I asked for one the lady at the front desk told me I didn't pay them, I paid online, so it was against company policy to give me a detailed receipt.

Smell in hallways—musty carpet? Plugged tub drain—fixed when told Door didn’t latch at night so used safety locks. Didn’t latch going to breakfast. Sounded like it shut and latched when we left for the day, but was able to just push open when we returned. Mentioned it to housekeeping the next day, but it seemed to work fine then.

Spontaneous stay when we didn't wish to continue our drive to Minneapolis. This was a perfect time to check this spot out. We were not disappointed. Room was spacious. Clerk at desk nice enough to warn us our room was far from the desk, and we would be better off driving to a closer door. Breakfast was tasty with selections. We did not use the aquatic center this time, but went in and looked it over. Looks wonderful, for families as well as adults. Hot tub looked very roomy!

That our room was so far from the desk that we needed to use our car to go to breakfast. Wouldn't have been an issue if I were younger and more mobile, however.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! There were so many fun things to do, but my favorite part was definitely the room and the waterpark. The waterpark was huge and everyone had a blast splashing around. And the room was so spacious and comfortable, it really made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

staff was very friendly when arrived at 10PM Sat night. Room was excellent. Very Clean, mattress was excellent. A/C was quiet and great. Had a very good, QUIET night in the room. In the AM, decided to leave early to get home. AM desk person was excellent. VERY friendly. Got some juice and cinnamon pastry and was on my way. Would STRONGLY recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very minor that lights between the two queen beds did not turn on with the switch on the lights. Maybe was not plugged in but I did not check.

How roomy the room was, 2 tvs. Couch and bed separated by the washroom , so if one went to bed earlier the other could watch TV on the couch without disruption. Cool!! The aquatic centre was just so nice. We were a couple, had fun playing volleyball for a bit before going in the hot tub. Very clean and well kept. I could see how much fun that place could be for a family getaway! Just very highly recommended!

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable! The price was very reasonable! The pool area was beautiful! The breakfast looked wonderful; unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule so only got to have some coffee! That was good too!

There was a blanket in the room that had not been washed as there was blood on it. It may have been folded up and put in the closet by a previous occupant, but these things should be inspected every time!

very cool pool/waterpark area for a relatively budget stay. I didn’t use it myself, but seems like one of the best places for a family with young kids

slightest bit of uncleanliness (e.g a few crumbs in room and some bathroom smudges noticeable) but not terrible at all - maybe 7/10 on cleanliness. Also my shower lacked a waterproof curtain liner, so the bathroom floor inevitably got slightly flooded while showering despite my best efforts to avoid it.

I love the Hotel. My family and I stay there every memorial day weekend for years now. It's a great place with a very good staff.

The only thing that I personally was not a fan of was the daily price of the room. I understand that it was memorial day weekend but the hotel wasn't that busy, and I'd have stayed Tuesday but the price was outrageous, so we decided to just go home. It's a great hotel but no hotel room there is worth almost $200/night.

Price was right for a small family gathering. Pool area was nice for small children. Hot breakfast was okay, could have real eggs though.

We were given rooms in the north wing. We rented 3 rooms for for 2 nights. Seems like we were the only people in the hotel...why did we need to be so far from the pool, lounge, and breakfast area?
