Super 8 by Wyndham Watertown WI

So many negative reviews….NOT our experience at all….Liv and Tim were very welcoming and helpful….this is an older hotel, but is still great…we traveled for a wedding and would definitely stay here again! Great staff is hard to find (especially now a days!!) Be kind as those who are still in this business have to deal with negative feedback from miserable individuals who love to write bad reviews…still they show up and greet you with a smile! As far as the breakfast complaints…hard boiled eggs, waffles, oatmeal, toast…all the standards you would expect at a hotel….if people are looking for a plate of bacon, eggs and sausage then go to a restaurant and pay for a meal! Hotels are struggling as is…they are doing their best! THANKS AGAIN LIV & TIM…you guys are Awesome!

Have nothing bad to say…again older hotel, but I can’t hold that against them…that just means they survived and stayed open over these last few crazy years!!

Easy access to facility. Check in and out was quick and efficient. I indicated no room service was necessary for my stay. Staff asked even towels, which I indicated would not be needed. I will say all towels and wash cloth's were very soft and appeared to be very new.

Not a real didn't like, but power went out the last evening for a few hours which was no fault of facility. I know another motel lost power about 12 miles away as well.

room size was great. quiet at night. Everyone with a dog kept them quiet and were good responsible pet owners

Breakfast was awful, cold boiled eggs yogurt, breakfast bar. Better off handing out certificates for a Mcdonald's breakfast. or another local restaurant. I did notice my sink had some dirty spots in it. I guess I should have taken a photo if I'd have known you were going to ask for photos. Your key card system kind of sucks, If you don't get the card in and out at the right speed your not getting in. Go Back to keys they always work.

Loved the Suite room with large tub and couch. Handicapped bathroom in second room was very large. Rooms had been recently redecorated & looked nice. Woman at the desk when we checked in was very helpful & pleasant.

Breakfast choices were very slim.

The staff was nice

Kinda dirty stains and dirt markes on the walls and lamp shades someone slammed a door at 2am hot tub had hair balls floating in it probably won't stay there again

They upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite for no additional charge

Loved our suite, the guy at the front desk was great. Pool was nice, kids had a lot of fun

Breakfast

Didn’t have any breakfast this visit. Room clean and comfortable. Desk staff friendly.

Very musty odor to room noticed upon arrival that remained all weekend even with the window open. Staff notified upon check out and stated problem will be addressed. Possibly a faulty exhaust fan in the bathroom from shower moisture?

Tim and his staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a nice sized room and plenty of towels ect. It was very quiet.

Clean and comfortable room. Staff was great. Breakfast was nice, typical waffle, fruit and yogurt.

No negatives.
