Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee West

we attended multiple games at American Family Field. We were able to walk to the ballpark and avoid parking. we ubered 1 game back to the hotel because it was so hot. we were close to an ihop, mcdonald's and Panda Express. we walked pretty much everywhere. I wouldn't recommend walking off the beaten path after dark, but the hotel was very well lit, secure and hospitable. the staff greeted us genuinely pleasantly each time we entered. we encountered 3 different front desk clerks, and all were equally helpful and pleasant.

we had no complaints.

I came for relaxation, while my daughter attended a bridal shower. It was quiet & the room was comfortable, my only disappointment was there was no good tv stations to watch when I wasn’t asleep. The parking was great also & I felt extra comfort knowing the lot had deco at night. Staff was professional & kind.

Better tv channels for those who just want to relax & do nothing. The hotel location itself was good, but when I ventured out to some of the retail store’s & restaurants close by…not a good experience.

The location was excellent--it's about a 15-20 minute walk to American Family Field. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was good--a nice variety of foods. The breakfast staff was really impressive: friendly, hard-working, and very efficient; they were committed to making sure that all breakfast items were available and the breakfast area was neat and clean.

The temperature of the breakfast area was quite chilly; it felt like the A/C was working in over-drive.

Very clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast was great and every employee we interacted with was friendly and professional.

Basically nothing--we liked everything! We came to watch a Brewers game and the front desk attendant gave us great information to help us walk to the game. I will say that walking home was more difficult because the stoplight at National Avenue that is set up to support a crosswalk becomes a flashing yellow at night and crossing the road to get to the hotel felt less safe (this is the stop light between the intersections of Miller Park Way and S 41 St). Patrons should be very careful crossing that street at night.

Location to the ball park was good. We were able to get a first floor room right next to the side door which made for easy unpacking the car. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

Pretty minor but when I asked for directions to the ball park I was handed a xeroxed sheet with a tiny Google map that was unreadable. She could have just pointed out the door and said cross the street and follow the trail by the big excavator!

Very clean Walking distance to American Family Field

All of the negative reviews about break-ins in the parking lot. Staff behind the desk were eating. I asked about a sidewalk to the venue and I was handed a piece of paper as staff continued to eat, she did not speak to me. I guess they are short staffed and the poor gal was probably trying to eat when she could. And our car was safe. No break-in!

The hotel was super clean, AC worked well, and the bathroom was big-shower and the provided toiletries were great! I appreciated the pump style shampoo/conditioner/body wash-eucalyptus and lavender is a nice touch, Bonus, that the location borders a: McDonalds, Panda Express, Starbucks, and a Walmart. So you are not far from much. The Brewer stadium can be seen from the hotel. We stayed here to attend the WI State Fair. We took a Lyft for about $15. Great location!

I thought the breakfast was good. Easy for the hotel to provide and enough variety to suit everyone.

Not a big deal to us, but it's a maintenance item the room we were in. The small lower shelf in the shower that I think is to put one's foot on to shave, was falling off the wall. We did not do that. I think maybe someone must have thought he/she could SIT on that. I don't know how though--it's only about 6 inches at its widest. LOL. The rest was great. Loved the room and the amenities.

With covid it is hard to have really good breakfasts, but the food provided was mostly very good. However, it is a shame that there is not one low sugar cereal (flavored oatmeal and raisin bran are NOT low suger.) Why can't you provide a low sugar option??. Staff member in charge of breakfast Tuesday morning was poor. Coffee ran out twice. I told her the 3rd time it ran out. Cups ran out, also bananas, milk and cereal options. The guest room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the unusual but functional hooks for clothing. We did not appreciate the strange noise of the air conditioner although it did work well.

Strange noises of AC sounded like a low key washing machine, but it did work. No low sugar breakfast choices. Poor work by staff member in charge of breakfast Tuesday morning.

The location was great. Less than 10 minute drive to downtown for a concert at the Firserv Forum arena. Room was very comfy and the shower was amazing.

Toilet seat was loose and saw a few stray hairs in the bathroom. I was able to look past that though during my short stay.
