Best Western Cotton Tree Inn

Spacious clean rooms with comfy beds. Staff friendly and helpful. Superb breakfast with many options. We booked 3 rooms for 1 night for 5 of us enroute from Yellowstone to Breckenridge, and were all impressed. Ample parking and good selection of restaurants for dinner nearby. Would definitely stay again if passing.

I was traveling with my 2 fur babies, so the staff gave me a room on the very end of the hallway that had 2 doors - one of which went directly outside to a parking spot I had backed into! This made unloading all of my stuff and my dogs' stuff (which is a lot) SO simple. This also came in handy because it was 24 degrees outside, and the walk from my car to my room was literally 3 steps. My room was HUGE. I booked a king room with a couch/sofa bed. I slept on the king and my dogs slept on the couch on one of their blankets. It was so cute that we all had our own spots. Hot breakfast was better than expected with scrambled eggs and rosemary potatoes - yum!

The parking lot lights are very bright and the curtain in the room fell about 8 inches from the window, which let a lot of light in overnight. I'm the kind of person who needs it very dark to sleep. Luckily, I had my eye mask. Also, the fire alarm went off a few times in the morning. One of my dogs howls when alarms go off, which made for some fun in my room and for my neighbors too, I'm sure.

The staff was very friendly and kind. Traveled with our little dog. They were kind to put us on the bottom floor with a sliding glass door for easy access to take our dog out to potty. But this place also had an inside door that lead to the front desk and dining area. Their breakfast was delicious too! Conveniently located off the freeway.

Breakfast was very good. The gentleman staffing the room was exceptional.

The Tiny toilet in the rooms bathroom. I have never tried to use a toilet that short. The room needed a grab bar to lift yourself up from using the stool Install comfort style toilets!

The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean.

Our room was on the back of the building, but due to construction, we had to park in front. The woman at the front desk was not very talkative. There was only 1 luggage cart, so we had to make several trips to the car.

It was so modern, clean, easy off the highway and easy to get back on, it had a restaurant from which we were able to order dinner and eat in our room. Delicious breakfast included. Parking right outside our room! Pet friendly. Extremely comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom. EXCELLENT!

It was more than I wanted to spend but I think we definitely got what we paid for!

Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Pool and hot tub were great! Free wifi that worked well. Breakfast was excellent! Dan and Amy helped everyone get a great start to the day by being very friendly, cheerful and helpful! (Please consider tipping them. They work so hard and they are both such great, down to earth people!). The breakfast room is one of the happiest places ever! The atmosphere is how life should be at least most of the time.)

Location was easy to access. Friendly staff, onsite mexican restaurant was excellent. It was so nice to be able to park the car, walk over to the restaurant and have a really good dinner. Breakfast with made to order omelettes was a nice surprise.

Not a huge deal but there was only stones instead of lawn. Not a problem for us but we walked a block over to find some grass for our little dogs to find a place to pee. They are midwestern dogs and not used to relieving themselves on rocks. Hotel is in high desert area so the rocks made sense and the dogs adapted. Nothing you can really do.

Great location to x-country drive trip,especially in a snow storm. Comfy bed and pillows. Desk and breakfast staff great.

Room was a little odd in terms of organization (plug location for my cooler, small sink area, seating area) but adequate.

Room was clean, made up well, and nicely decorated. Room in good condition, and repairs (if any) unnoticeable. Quiet area, even being in a corner room. Staff was polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out went well. The breakfast was a very nice surprise. The food was excellent, all individually packaged due to Covid precautions (even the omelettes were in plastic bags - unique but cool; it worked!!) We enjoyed visiting with the cook, Dan, who was a great guy, took pride in his work, and was fun to chat with; he filled us in on some of the history of the area, which was new to us and interesting. Great to hear it from an insider. We will return, and appreciate having the safe, comfortable spot to land. This is coming from myself being a hospitality industry insider, employed at a high-end boutique resort. It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive to achieve good results, though. My husband also travels for work at least once a month, and he was also very pleased. There is nothing like a comfortable, pleasant, quality hotel or motel. Thank you for a great stay!
