the room decor and history made this stay very memorable. very clean premises, and staff always friendly and willing to help.

1) when booking the hotel, I was not aware that only some rooms had a shower...as the description said: king room with bath. what should be said is: King room with only bath....as one assumes that there is a bath with a shower head is included. 2) I stayed for 3 nights, and each morning had to ask for hot water for my tea. There were green tea bags available for clients, but no hot water...just coffee. So for a Best Western, I found this to be somewhat bothersome.

I appreciated the attention to detail of the overall hotel and rooms- especially maintaining the historical significance. The building appeared to be well-cared for and was very clean. I like the ice water in the lobby.

The bathtub/shower accommodations are not ideal- I appreciate staying within the era of the hotel- with a claw footed tub- but difficult to use the handheld shower without making a bit of a water mess on the bathroom floor. The room temperature control is fair---- comfortable during a warm summer climate--- but the room air-conditioning is directly over the bed--- and quite chilly as it turns on and off throughout the day and night. Possible to not have the bed under the cooling system? The breakfast was fair- a little more attention to the freshness of the fare- and adding dry cereal choices.

lovely and well maintained historic hotel. Every staff member was utterly delightful and friendly. Very comfortable bed, good wifi. Nice location. 10 - 15 minute walk to all downtown locations. there's a coffee shop and brewery not even a five minute walk. Beautiful fixtures in the bathroom. Be warned if you want a walk in shower, you need to request. My room had only a tub which was fine except for getting the whole bathroom wet with the hand shower; no big deal. Keep in mind there's no tv but one does not go to beautiful Wyoming to stay in the room and watch tv. If you need a bedtime episode of something, the wifi is strong enough to stream on your laptop. They serve breakfast but can't comment as I went out to explore the local coffee shops. If you arrive on the late night flight you'll need to stop first at the best western to pick up the key but they were great about cleary explaining all of this in advance. Would definitely stay again

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was standard fare for a hotel. The nostalgia of the hotel is amazing.

The historical bar was not open during our stay, and some of the rooms had been remodeled and lost some of there historical charm. It appears that the antiques are being replaced with cheap modern items. The history and historical items and decor needs to remain.

The Inn was a beautiful building full of history and artifacts. It was very clean and there were many modern upgrades such as an elevator and very comfortable beds. The hallways had sitting areas for reading and board games. The porch with rocking chairs was a great place to hang out just as Bill Cody did in his days there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was always fresh and consistent.

Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed down. It was a beautiful historic bar and it is unfortunate it could not be used. The rooms have nice claw foot tubs with nice hand showers but I am a shower person so that was a slight inconvenience for me. Ice was only available from the kitchen, which the front desk clerk was always willing to get for us, but it was also a minor inconvenience.

The breakfast was basic, but very tasty. The staff was absolutely wonderful; friendly and very helpful. It was nice to sit on the big front porch and watch the trains go by. The place is old, but not dated. The remodeling job was clearly done by a top-tier outfit. The room was spotless and comfortable.

A stand-up shower would have been nice, but I can understand why it's not practical on a 3rd floor room like where we stayed. It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open.

The building is incredible and I loved having a write-up of some of the history in the booklet in our room. Personally, we appreciated not being asked to wear masks. The breakfast was typical of many other hotels, but the savory toast was a lovely touch (and delicious). Very clean and comfortable facilities. Overall, I was blown away! I didn't want to leave. I'm so glad we splurged on a room here instead of staying somewhere cheaper!

The gal that checked us in was kind and not rude at all but lacked a sense of energy and hospitality that I expected from such a unique and privately owned business. I understand that it is probably a personality thing, but she could have done more to make us feel comfortable and welcome when we walked in.

Excellent historic hotel saved from the wrecking ball of the '60s. Loved the ambiance. The staff were amazing. Dakota was so informative and friendly and Connie too was very kind. A lot of love and care went to refurbish the rooms. Loved the clawfoot bath tub!

Rooms had the old west character, as did the rest of the hotel. I went because it is supposedly haunted and because it's the off season and lots of the lights were off and there were maybe three other people staying, so it kept the ambiance.

For the price, not too amenities, i.e. limited breakfast options, no tvs or microwaves or fridge in the room. Plus, I didn't see any ghosts.

So nice to not be in a giant chain, but a beautiful well kept unique historic hotel. Bathrooms were newly remodeled in vintage style, exceptionally clean and beautiful. Room was comfortable with bonus room for kids. Breakfast was exceptional with a surprising variety of seasonal, healthy options in spacious setting. Had fresh berries, whole wheat toast with avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and radishes. A fabulous first for a hotel breakfast bar!
