The Budget Inn Express

I only had breakfast one of the three mornings I was there. There was toast, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. It was adequate for a free breakfast. The room was small, but had upgraded floors and good blackout curtains. There was a smart TV to watch Netflix on. The bathroom sink had a small drip and the shower had some sort of issue where it began to make a squealing sound at random (while not in use) and all sorts of adjusting of the knobs was needed to make it stop. I notified the front desk, but it was a strange issue. The room had a fridge and microwave, and I like the convenience of parking right in front of the room.

This motel is close to the railroad tracks, but not where the trains are blowing a horn, so that wasn't too bad. It was an otherwise quiet location. The sound carries between rooms and even though it's one story, you can still hear the neighbors clunking around.

The room were extra large, Had plenty of room for parking two cars per unit. The main took took her time to do a quality job cleaning my room. I always let a note thanking her for the quality job see did, They don't have carpet in the rooms. Because of that my white socks are always black on the bottoms, well that what happens at Motel 6. So I try and stay away from places that don't have carpet. they do mop the floor everyday, and take care of the small details. My socks never got dirty from their floors. Maintenance was taken care of. Didn't have any kind of problem to speak of. y

Only one small problem. I wish they would up grade to toilet bowls, to the newer one, in stead of the old fashion round bowl.

I booked a queen bed, but I was pleasantly surprised to get a king. The bed was good, we both liked it. The water was hot. The room was spacious, with a table and chairs, and a desk. We didn't watch much tv, we were there to spend time with family. The breakfast was great! It had something for everyone. I like the fact that, what I saw on the website, was what the breakfast looked like.

No hot cocoa in the room or for breakfast. There was coffee and tea, which I don't drink. They did have milk and orange juice for breakfast.

This is a much older hotel that has been very well taken care of. The rooms are very large and everything seems to be up to date. Tvs, beds, bathroom, all to very good modern standards. I really cannot complain about this little motel. It was not crowded, it was easy to pull into, large parking spots and ample parking in the back for those with trailers. The staff was very nice. The internet was very good. The pet fee was not a lot. Everything seemed to be very clean. I would definitely stay here again if I make a trip to Sheridan, Wyoming.

There was nothing I did not like. It meant all of my and my family's needs.

It was super affordable and very comfortable for a small town hotel. The room was big, bed was comfortable and the linens clean . I loved the fact it didn’t have a carpet but laminate floor and the room didn’t smell and felt they put effort in making the visitors rest before they hit back k the road like it did .

The only thing I would suggest is to clean the vents . They were dirty but besides that the entire room and the facilities were great

this is the only place we stay when road tripping through Sheridan. we have stayed here multiple times and each time is more pleasant than the previous. they are pet friendly which is super important for us bc we always have a couple pets with us. rooms are always clean which is great especially with an infant. staff is always friendly and are genuinely kind folks. the value of the cleanliness, loveliness of staff and basic needs being met for a simple one night stay far exceeds expectations. the price is always a welcoming factor as well - no astronomical price for gimmicks that we wouldn’t ever use. we frequently road trip from Washington to Indiana and back, each time making sure to stay at the Budget Inn Express :)

nothing to dislike :) i know folks mention train noise, however, in all the times we have stayed here we have never heard any kind of train noise.

I like the hardwood floors. I like the old-fashioned drive up to the room idea. The room was spacious. I thought it was very clean. They could do a little better on basic TLC. Like paint the baseboards. Some linoleum was loose on this bathroom countertop could use some glue. The staff were very nice. It’s right on main street so it’s easy to drive right downtown from there 

Friendly staff and a comfortable room. For a budget hotel, the breakfast was quite nice. I also liked the wide parking spaces - great for unloading stuff from the car.

As I was on the ground floor, I could clearly hear whenever someone flushed in the room above me (and they used the bathroom a lot in the night). Otherwise, it was pretty quiet throughout the night.

A simple, balanced breakfast was provided (boiled eggs for protein). Coffee was a bit weak, but OK. Room was very well provided with furnishings, very clean. It appeared to have been recently remodeled. Exterior was very well mainatined, clean, freshly painted. New HVAC units perform very well. Kudos to the owners/management of this older facility.

I thought everything was very well done at the level of facility this was.

EVERYTHING!!! Always apprehensive when booking a hotel never stayed at but reviews appeared good. Price was excellent. The room exceeded ALL expectations of what we might get. Room was recently renovated or so well maintained it looked like recent renovations. Bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning unit was newer and very quiet. The breakfast area was exceptionally clean and had a variety of items for breakfast.
