hoi an emotions is an amazing hotel, situated along the river and just a few minutes bike ride from the old town. the rooms are really tastefully decorated and the highlight of it all is the staff. awesome, kind and attentive. sounds cliche, but felt like family.

like many hotels, COVID has left its marks here. some parts of the hotel are a little neglected, but really only a small portion of the hotel. the gym is maybe in need of the most love.

The rooms are large. The bathroom is large with an open style shower as well as a bath. The pool is picturesque with manicured surrounding gardens and garden furniture. David at the swim up bar is entertaining and cannot do enough for you. He speaks good English which was very helpful to us. The buffet breakfast is served with warm smile and welcome each day by those staff who also make you feel like a welcome guest. The air conditioner was cold and well maintained.

Lovely, helpful staff. Well looked after grounds, staff continually around gardening, sweeping, cleaning the pool etc. Loved the free bicycles, we used them multiple times. Such a fun way to see the outskirts of Hoi An and the beaches. It was low season whilst we were there so there was an al a carte breakfast that you selected the night before, good variation and quality of food. Spacious room. Easy 15min walk into the old quarter on flat ground.

Air-con was inefficient, needed to be on 16 to effectively cool the room. Could ad a rubber seal to the bottom of the main door to prevent mosquito entry and loss of cool air.

we had our baby with us so having a room by the pool was great! we could relax in the pool or outside the room while he slept. The staff were friendly and accomodating, and helped with anything they could. 10 min walk into town or a $3 taxi if you wanted to save your feet. the rooms are big and all that you might need. The swim up bar was great. Breakfast was pretty basic but lots of great options around. The restaurant over the road was great, we went there a lot and they even would let us do a takeaway while the baby slept. Highly recommend, great value for money and a great relaxing place to stay.

- the bathroom did not seem to be cleaned. It felt like entering someone else's room. The drainage of the shower was completely blocked - beverages or food from outside are not allowed on the room and will be charged extra by the hotel, even though the hotel does not have a bar or restaurant - the bed was a little worn out

Big and spacious room, clean, and they also rental the bike for free. The location is also near to the center area. The price is worthy.

I booked a biggest room, and it is in the second floor and they not have lift or elevator. Only stair. So it so tired and dangerous when I carry 30 inch luggage to the second floor. Also in the night above 11 PM, they turn off all the lights outside the room. It’s scary and dangerous to go to the second floor above 11 PM. For pay at the hotel, if pay with credit card, then will be charged 3% more.

The room is really big, its almost like an appartment. everything is available. It is a quiet place of Hoi An, really relaxing. Staff is really friendly and helpful. You can use the bikes for fee. I booked for one night, but end up staying for about a week. The bed is probably the best bed I’ve had during 3 weeks of Vietnam.

Not much really. Everything is pretty good. only thing maybe is that I had to look for the towels. They were in the cupboard in the bathroom. I’m used of them being in plain sight.

Amazing little place to stay with a baby Nice hotel with a great garden, nicely quiet and off the main road but close enough to many restaurants

The pool bar wasn't working which was a shame as I am sure many guests would have loved using it. The pool wasn't properly cleaned with chlorine. The walls of the pool were green as a result which is a big no no for me.

very big and nice rooms with comfortable beds and a great big bathtub, perfect for pair’s. nice pool and garden area with very big koy fishes to see. sadly weather was to cold to go for a swim. very quiet in the room. not too far from old town.

breakfast was very very simple for the first 3 days and suddenly when there was more guests they had a buffet on the last day. should be every day buffet.

This was our second stay and it is really like a home away from home, great pool and pool bar with the best barman 'David' The breakfast is good and the rooms are big and very comfortable beds. Free bicycles for an easy ride into town and market, love this place !! All the staff are very helpful and friendly
