Lantana Riverside Hoi An Hotel & Spa

The hotel staff were very warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean with lovely riverside views from the balcony. Great selection of food for breakfast and, on our day of departure, we were given a thoughtfully chosen packed breakfast for our journey.

It was great having free access to the hotel bikes but they could do with better maintenance (brakes, tyres etc). There were leaflets about tours available in reception but an information folder in the rooms about things to do in/around Hoi An would have been a bonus.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles. All staff had amazing English skills which was a bonus for us Aussie travellers. Special thanks to Anna who was lovely to myslef and my travelling companion. The services offered by the hotel were great. Helped us organised transport and activities whilst we stayed with them. The room was spectacular, cleaned daily and very well. We will be back next time we stay in Hoi An

The staff are the kindest and the most helpful I have ever had in my travels. They knew us by name and supported us with everything we needed. Staff helped us book tickets for the Hoi A Memories show and the Bamboo circus. We had several treatments at the spa which were well priced and an excellent service. Very relaxing. Room was big, clean with a comfy bed. Big shower and clean bathroom. Walk is about 20 minutes into town or the hotel has a shuttle bus or staff can help you order a taxi which always came in a few minutes, the taxis were very well priced ($3 USD to get into town). Would highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is a short distance out of town.

This was a really really nice stay for two days. Right away when I arrived, Ely was amazing. She showed me places on the map, explained laundry prices and breakfast times and wrote everything out for me. She also helped to arrange a spa service since I had just gotten in from a long journey. The spa service in the downstairs spa was the best massage I had every had in my life and the girls were so fantastic and friendly. Breakfast is varied and delicious and Rosie comes in and checks on you and makes sure that everything is okay. The room is spacious and clean and comfortable. It is honestly a perfect stay and I was really happy to have chosen this hotel.

This is very minor and just something to be aware of but was not actually a problem: The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the old city and I thought it was a bit closer to the Old City. BUT a 25 min walk is not bad especially because it means that the hotel is in a more quiet and relaxed part of town. PLUS, the hotel has free bikes you can rent waiting just outside for you.

Loved being out of the noise of the town and by the river. It was really peaceful and the room was very tidy. They offer free bikes, which although I didnt use, these were a huge benefit. There are all the amenities nearby and the walk into the centre of the old town was easy. Last time I was in Hoi An I stayed in the town centre, which was beyond noisy, so I loved the peaceful surroundings of this hotel. The Khamy cafe a few doors down is the perfect spot to have a cold drink and watch the sunset and then wander back to the comfort of the hotel.

I'm glad we stayed about 1km outside the old city. Our stay was during TET which according to what we read meant a lot of things would be shut down and overall quiet...not so much. the old city was insane especially in the evenings, but we still went a couple times for the overall experience. The pedal bikes at the hotel were great. We had 2 big bike trips and another smaller one. Did a cooking class one day which was lots of fun and and everyday happy hour was on the hotel front terrace and our room balcony overlooking the river...awesome!

I suppose the pool would be great when it's really hot, but it was only 28-31 daytime and the pool is shaded.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well staffed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. In my families case, the hotel staff constantly checked that each individual had everything needed to enjoy our stay and asked if there were any individual needs. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh linen supplies. There was ample choice and supply at breakfast. We had an evening meal, which did not disappoint. The chef met all dietary requirements. The restaurant staff were exceptionally attentive, but not intrusive.

Nothing. The hotel checked regularly with us to ensure they could satisfy our needs.

We couldn’t fault this hotel - the staff were so welcoming on arrival, and incredibly helpful with showing us what is best to do around the city. It’s a lovely quiet spot, about 10 mins walk from the old town, but we hired the free bikes from the hotel to get around. The breakfast was also great, with different choices on a daily basis. Anna & Wendy especially made our stay memorable, so friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. Anna got me hooked on the local Kumquat tea, which is a must try, and Wendy helped with lots of recommendations to do in Huế. If we ever go back to Hoi An, we’d come back to Lantana Riverside. Also definitely worth upgrading to a River view room. Thank you all for a wonderful stay in Hoi An.

Nothing - everything was fabulous.

This place is a haven, it's set back from the madness of the old town. Due to a issue with a booking at a different hotel, we booked this last minute. The service at Lantana has been exceptional. Mile, the manger Wow what a woman. She had everything under control and gave us advise on tours, , she is generally a good natured person. It's a 20 min walk to old town along the river, they have bicycles but we used Grab most days as it was really hot, it was £1.50 per journey. Our rooms had a balcony and the view of the river was stunning, with perfect air-conditioning. (the room to book!!) The beds are so comfortable and they are serviced daily, they are spotlessly clean and we had our laundry done there too. All the staff were really accommodating and friendly. You must go to Hoi An Memories land for the show, it was amazing, purchase tickets from the hotel as its cheaper. This has been our best stay so far in Vietnam. ❤️

Breakfast has plenty of choice available, and a varied selection but Lunch was mediocre at best. We also had massages at the spa, again the staff were wonderful, the massages mediocre.

We had a great time at the Lantana Riverside Hotel. The staff was superb and surprised me by learning our names. The view we had of the river from the 3rd floor was excellent. Breakfast was a collection of Oriental and Western breakfast items and had some variations day-by-day. We took advantage of renting a couple of basic bikes from the hotel to visit Hoi An. On another day we used the bikes to see the nearby beach and to take a Coconut Boat tour. We enjoyed a partner's massage at the downstairs spa area of the hotel. When walking to downtown, I'd say it's about 20 minutes to the main outside market area and another 10 minutes to the bridge. Be sure to take in the Bamboo Circus at the Lune Center. It's a bit expensive considering how inexpensive other things are in Vietnam, but we felt it was worth it. Get seats just above the purple area for the best view and the best price.

A pretty minor thing, but the waffles need to be thicker and more fully cooked. The basic bikes could have a little more maintenance done, but nothing major.
