ibis Styles Vung Tau

Room is nicely decorated and furnished. The receptionist (Mr. Nam) was very friendly to welcome me and helped me a lot when I checked in the hotel. He even upgraded my Standard Room to Superior Room for free because it was the first time I was here. Actually I really went here for vacation and to see if I like the hotel. He even allowed me to check out at 12:30 pm because we checked in quite late. I felt very welcomed and warm with this offer. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice and perfect for chilling out, they even provided us with the towels to dry ourselves and keep us warm before we got back to our room.

Toothbrush and toothpaste were not in the room and we had to ask for them and they will provide. We didnt know it and we bought our own toothbrush and toothpaste. Please let us know about this rule in advance. The elevator is not easy to use, we need clear instruction in advance. We got stuck in the elevator for a few minutes (no light) because we didnt know how to use it properly. Luckily, someone outside used it and the door was open. We were completely scared. After that, the staff explained to me very clearly about how to use it. It’s quite different from other hotels we have been to (use the cards differently).

The Ibis is a nice choice to stay in Vung Tau. Modern facilities, great location right across the street from the beach, comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful (and generally speak good English). Very nice pool/bar on the rooftop. Restaurant is good.

One thing: not the hotel's fault, but public gatherings near the beach can be quite noisy early morning and at night. Best to try to get a room on the left side of the hotel, not the right side. Also: no room service is provided, a little surprising, just a slight inconvenience sometimes.

I would love to stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Vung Tau! Great value for money, the room and the hotel was very clean, comfortable and modern! The hotel is across the road from the beach and the view from the rooftop pool and the room was lovely and relaxing! The staff were amazing, very helpful and very accommodating with checking in & out (allowing me to enjoy the pool for a lot longer!). I’m not a breakfast person but at this hotel I definitely was! Such a wide selection of food, it was difficult to choose what to have. There was Asian/western/European cuisine, fruits, pastries etc, something for everyone!

Rooftop pool and bar were amazing! Best coctails in Vietnam. And really helpful and proactive personnell. Including the ones in the restaurant (remembered that we prefer to use a knife too) and in the reception. The reception organized very nice limousine bus to drive us staright to the international airport. And was so kind to allow us late check out. Respect!

Rooftop bar should be open even before 14.00. Corridors could be cleaned better.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Styles Vung Tau and was blown away by the beautiful sea view from my room! The location of the hotel, opposite the beach, made for an incredible sunset experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and provided great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beach getaway with stunning views and top-notch service.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The check-in time was at 3pm, but they were able to accommodate my early check-in request and I was able to get into my room around 2pm. The staff were very supportive and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant. The room met my expectations and provided a stunning sea view. The breakfast was also great, with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I simply loved the Colours of Ibis Styles, filling me with so much energy. Also appreciated the caring and welcoming staff, plus the 13th-floor Top pool facilities. Great to meet the day with "Sun Salutation" & refreshing swim. I stayed at the hotel for 9 nights, feeling very comfortable and at home!

Ibis Styles needs to improve its Web communication!

The location and buffet breakfast were great. Staff were helpful. I'd recommend this for families wanting a beach vacation. Too many yelling, running children to be romantic.

Staff need to mop the floor dry more frequently when crowded. Wet kids from the beach drip water at the lift lobbies. My friend slipped on a wet puddle outside the lift and almost fell.

Modern decor. Very clean. The shower was exceptional. Good coffee shop and breakfast buffet.

Bring your earplugs. The cavernous opening in the middle of the hotel is a massive echo chamber. It amplifies the noise from screaming toddlers and penetrates into the guest rooms. Soundproofing is needed. The twin beds are too close together because there is too much furniture in the room.

Facilities, Location, Cleanliness, Helpful Staff. From my observation, it would be great if the restaurant staff (in the evening shift) could be more friendly once communicating with customers. Maybe they are trying to be professional; but to some customers, it could be arrogant.
